When reading The Player, I expected a little bit more of the player aspect but clearly that term was wrongfully use to describe Garrett Lowery. Yes he had some rough patches and didn't really have any emotional ties to anyone he was with EXCEPT for Blair Myers . . . the love of his life.

Blair Hansen likes to plan things out, be practical, she spent her whole career building up to make partners at her firm but there's a rumor stirring that because of Blair's presentation of herself that might diminished her chances of getting promoted. Her straight-cut, don't mess around with me attitude might need to be soften up a bit, but can Blair soften up her overall personality?

Blair is set to get married over the weekend, she said she's prepare to do this but yet her heart has no flutters toward the man she is currently engaged with. So what makes her heart flutters? Garrett Lowery, her ex from the past and the one who broke her heart.

Is there such thing as Second Chances . . .

Both Garrett and Blair can't deny that there's still chemistry between them but Blair is determine to stay as far away from him as possible even when Garrett is suddenly put into her wedding that she really had no part in it.

I'm torn between hating or annoyed by the future mother in law, her little kitty bank certainly gains at least 20 bucks within a 10 minutes conversations.  Seriously it was funny that she lugged around a little kitty bank but again I really didn't like the  mother-in-law because she's annoying! One of my favorite scene was the "Hard Lemonade" Trust me you'll know what I'm talking about when you get to it.

https://img0.etsystatic.com/023/0/7598527/il_340x270.513927804_a1oz.jpg

I always figure Blair had a fun side to her, but it really didn't show until almost the very end when she decides to take a gamble and goes with Garrett after a huge fall out happens at the wedding reception. trust me you'll never believe where Garrett took her and where it leads . . .

Garrett is literally put through the ringer, just when he thinks things are going his way something always get in his way hence his cousin who I call a GREAT GIANT SNAKE!

So now you're wondering . . . will Blair and Garrett get "back" together or will Blair say "I Do" with her Snake of a fiance?

Kitty Blitz

 WAKE UP! By Hunter Marshall

I only knew two things when I married Grey Andrews: one, I was in love and two, I wanted to rebel against my parents. For the first time in my life, REALLY rebel. I, however, wasn't prepared for the onslaught of negativity and abuse I encountered.

Grey would make sure I knew where I stood, with him, and with everyone else. He of course, was allowed to go and do whatever, wherever he pleased. Even during the rare times I would stand up to him, he would be sure that I knew I was nothing.
"You? What man in his right mind would want you? You are the biggest bitch I've ever known. Not to mention, you are damaged ." Grey said as he wheeled around with that all too familiar sneer. The last thing I heard was, "I only married you out of pity."

Did he really mean that? I loved him so much and thought if I loved him enough, he could change. I felt like I had been punched in the gut! Would he realize how lucky he was to have a beautiful wife and son. Only time would tell.

Grey made sure I was knocked down several pegs at all times, but. even worse than that was the way he treated Tyler. My heart bled every time that sweet little boy was pushed off to the side and denied the attention he so deeply needed and deserved.

Do you ever "Get over" abuse, betrayal and adultery? My answer, no. You "get through it", but you don't ever "get over" it. You take it one baby step at a time and it is the support of great family, good friends and a loving Heavenly Father that makes continuing on even remotely possible.

Hide & Seek: The Player

Book two in the USA Today bestselling Wedding Pact series.

Divorce attorney Blair Hansen is convinced that marriage should be based on practicality, not passion. But as her own wedding approaches, she finds herself remembering her law school boyfriend, the only man she's ever loved, and regretting what might have been. Then a twist of fate lands Garrett back in her life, and the man who loomed large in her past is suddenly casting a shadow over her wedding, making her question everything. To complicate matters further, the job she loves is in peril, and she can feel the ‘perfect’ life she’s fashioned for herself start to crumble under her feet. Could everything she's believed about life and love be wrong?

Garrett Lowry is a divorce attorney who's ready to settle down. The problem is that he can’t find a woman who suits him nearly as well as the one he loved and lost. He broke her heart by playing the field after their break up—something he’s always regretted. But after months of pining for Blair, Garrett stumbles across her in a freak coincidence—and then destiny keeps throwing them together, the coincidences becoming ever more unlikely. He’s convinced it's a sign they should give their love a second chance, but Blair is engaged to another man—a man who is absolutely wrong for her.

Can Garrett convince Blair that a player once isn’t a player forever, and that happy endings aren’t just for dreamers?

The shock on Blair’s face matched his own surprise at his out-of-nowhere declaration.

Nana Ruby was going to kill him.

He’d had no intention of laying claim to the ring, and in truth, he could give a rat’s ass about it. But damned if he was going to stand by and let his punk cousin marry Blair, let alone with that ring.

Now, instead of diffusing the situation, he’d ratcheted it up to Def-Con 1. Jesus, he had to get things under control.

“I won’t rip the ring off the bride-to-be’s hand, if that’s what you concerned about,” he said, dropping Blair’s hand and trying to control his racing heart. “We’ll wait for Nana to come tomorrow night. She can help make the decision.”

This brought on a new round of shouting and dismay. Whiney Neil tossed out the phrase “you’re her favorite.” While that was probably true, he doubted Nana could help him get the girl, which was his real goal. That one was all on him.

Blair looked on in confusion, making it abundantly clear they’d kept her in the dark about the questionable ownership of her ring. But soon her bewilderment turned to anger as she narrowed her eyes at him.

“It’s time for all of you to pay up,” his aunt said shaking the plastic cat jar. “Blair, you got off easy this time. You only owe a dollar. Neil, you owe two, and you, Gene Neilson Fredrick, must owe at least five between the drinking and the cursing.”

Uncle Gene and Aunt Debra had a stare off for several seconds before Gene caved. He must have decided to choose his battles because he dug out his wallet and sheepishly stuck a five-dollar bill into the jar. Neil put in his money and Garrett handed over a dollar when Debra shoved the jar in Blair’s direction.

His aunt scowled at him. “Surprisingly, you don’t owe anything.”

Garrett tucked his money into the jar and winked at Blair. “Oh, this is for the bride. Call it an early wedding gift. But it this is for cursing, as the label suggests, you owe some money yourself, Aunt Debra.” His eyebrows rose with mock recrimination.

“And I do believe I need to have a discussion with my mother about my true parentage. No one ever told me I was a bastard.”

Debra’s face turned red, although Garrett couldn’t tell if it was from
embarrassment or anger. Probably both.

He’d earned a scowl from Blair for donating the money on her behalf, but now he could tell she was trying to hold back a grin.

"That was an unfortunate loss of self-control.” The woman’s face twisted into disgust as she pulled her wallet out of her purse and pulled out one dollar. She screwed an indignant expression on her face. “The Lowrys seem to bring out the worst in me.”

Blair tipped her head, her eyes dancing with mischief. “Actually, Debra, you owe two dollars. One for informing your nephew of his illegitimacy and the second for spelling out the home of you know who.”

   Debra’s eyes widened in shock.

“Blair!” Neil cried out in horror.

Garrett knew the Fredricks liked to tiptoe around his aunt’s self-righteous attitude.

He was glad to see Blair hadn’t kowtowed like the rest of them.

“You know who?” Garrett asked in amusement. He couldn’t help but take pleasure in riling up his aunt and irritating his cousin. Especially since Blair seemed to find Debra as obnoxious as he did. “Dare I ask who that is?”

Blair lifted her eyebrows. “Why, the prince of darkness himself.”

“Lord Voldemort?” Garrett teased, shooting his aunt an amused look.

She wasn’t so pleased. “Who is this Lord Voldemort you keep talking about? Do we need to add him to the kitty list?”

Garrett burst out into laughter. He was surprised his aunt didn’t already know about the notorious villain.

“No, Mom,” Neil said. “He’s a character from a children’s book, which explains why Garrett is so enthralled with him.”

Garrett noticed he left Blair off the naughty list, but it didn’t stop him from giving her a look of reproach. She glanced away, trying to hide her grin.

So his Blair was still there, lurking below the prim and proper exterior. Just like he’d found her years ago.

Review

How do you heal a broken heart?

Rose underwent the biggest and most toughest breakup with Joe, with him not being able to stand up for himself he reverts back to his parents control.

But a broken heart can be mend right? Walks in Mason . . .

But Rose's broken heart isn't the only thing, Daniel Crocker broke out of jail and is on the hunt for Rose. Worry about her safely, she goes into hiding but there's another problem . . . there's a leak in the police department that may get Daniel Crocker closer to Rose then she would like.

Can Rose out run Daniel Crocker? Or will she fail under his trap?

A new journey awaits for Rose

PURRRFECT! I LOVE LOVE! this book! There was so much growth for Rose and the being on the run while hunted by a psychopath made this book contains so much excitement and changes that it kept me reading it over and over again.

Meow Meow Meow

Poor Rose I just feel so bad for her!!!! However with Mason in the picture I know things just gotta heat up, however how can Rose heal her broken heart if Joe is still protruding in her life? I mean come on Joe! what you did was unacceptable and you basically choose your family over her!!!!

However Rose is doing her best to not let Joe affect her, even though his father JR planned his whole appearance at the shop for Joe's Campaign and Hilary by his side. But it all for good deed, Violet and Rose will get the financial boost as well the media boost once again.

But Rose's trouble isn't over! Daniel Crockery broke loose out of jail and he is on an hunt. . .for ROSE. To get REVENGE . . .

And to start it off with a bed full of roses . . .

http://interiordesigningblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/rose-petals-on-bed.jpg

Now Rose must rely on Assistant AD Mason Deveraux for help but also learn a new kind of relationship that she thought she had with Joe but there's more to the fire with Mason.

Okay I'm glad that DGS put Mason and Rose together, I suspected that there was something when Mason was first brought in book two. Now I see after what happen in book 3 why Mason needed to be part of Rose's surrounding . . . To mend her broken heart. Also be her biggest rock to lend on when thing got tough between her and her sister.

While on the hide from Daniel Crocker, even after close call of Crocker finding her the best place for Rose to hide is at her birth mother's Dora farm house which was left in her will for Rose to have once she was old enough and when Rose decided on if she want to keep the farmhouse or not.

http://www.vallecrucis.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/1861farmhouse_680px.jpg

Yes clearly there are many ways that the farmhouse would look like but really this is how I'd imagine it but it could have looked a little bit more aged. But oh well, I think the farmhouse started to become importance to Rose in more ways than she thought.

Rose digs her birth mother Dora's past while hiding out on the farm with Mason and hiding from the psycho Daniel Crocker. Honestly these two are meant for each other! I can't see Rose ever going back to Joe after being with Mason. He's open with his feelings and would do anything to protect Rose, either from Joe or even from Daniel Crocker.

Can you survive a night out in the wood . . . when a Psychopath is chasing you?

http://24.media.tumblr.com/478e2cbbe043e89b1be32a97ed224bb1/tumblr_n1tk8dq4Os1s03x0vo1_250.jpg

The two end up being on the run from Crocker after Mason's suspicions that there was an insider that was someone working for Crocker. As well a leak in the Fenton Country police system, I have to say for Rose being on the run from a psychopath made her somewhat stronger. But also grew her relationship with Mason even stronger

 Returning to Reality . . .

I'm not surprise that there was a fall out between Rose and her sister Violet, there's just something about Violet that bothers me. She had always had to be the "BIG Bad Wolf" and simply wouldn't accept the fact that Rose was her own person and was gaining her own Independence even when's Violet's world was crumbling down. Maybe Violet is one of those person that just doesn't really know how to express her thoughts and feeling but also just allowing lies about Rose that just isn't true. NOW that was HURTFUL.

A New beginning is about to start for Rose

Review

Ready to start anew, Rose and her sister Violet have decided to open up an landscaping/Nursery shop in hope for a brand new start and new recognition.

There's a new Reverend in town and with a big media/community followers and being a potential new clinet could that boost up the nursery/landscaping business? Jonah Pruitt believes by bring the Gardner sisters into the fold, the church and the business will be a double threat.

But is a double Threat too literal?

Now someone is killing old women who are mysteriously turning over their will to the new reverend Jonah, making Jonah an targeted suspect. but he has his eyes on Rose.

Will she his next victim?

Rose tries to stay out of trouble but when the killings are happening on her street, she can't help but initiate her own investigation . . . despite Joe and Mason's warnings.

Rose must figure out the pieces before she becomes the next victim.

I give this an 4 Cat's Tails up, the times are changing for Rose and the stakes are getting higher but whose going to fall through the cracks?

Meow Meow Meow

I've been putting off this series for so long and now I've finally was able to get the next four books (not Novella included) and I went through this book in one day!

I know it's been almost exactly a year since I read the second book but I did my best to brush up on what happen I'm not going to waste my meow meow meow listing of what I remember and what I got out of brush up information.

Rose and Joe, aw those two are hopelessly in love but I happen to notice that Joe is greatly absent in this book because of an undercover stint and he was currently living in Little Rock. Seems odd that he's been so far away and so distance from Rose.

MASON AND ROSE sitting in a tree . . . . You know what's next
 http://www.lots-of-romantic-ideas.com/images/silhouette.jpg
Mason really became more apparent in this book and it's clear as day that he has a total crush on Rose, although Rose is blind because she is with Joe. But I asked myself this "How can she be with Joe, when he's gone all the time?"

I love how the car dealer quickly thought that Rose and Mason were a couple, I mean come on! The world is screaming at them GET TOGETHER!!! BE A COUPLE!!!! Plus thanks to Neely Kate, Rose tells Mason her "gift" which is a pretty big deal telling Mason.

The business venture
Rose had her own things to deal with like opening up a nursery/landscaping shop with her sister Violet, their little shop gets great media with the new Reverend  in town that is directly across from the shopEnter Jonah Pruitt, he is wildly known for his church community.

However something fishy is going on surrounding Jonah and Rose gotten herself in the middle of elderly sudden and strange deaths, making her believe that foul play has happen.

Danger is getting closer and time could be running out.

Joe's BIG family dinner, was a trap in itself Poor Rose had to endure such an horrible night. Joe's father put Joe in the running for senator and everyone was making it pretty apparent that Rose would not be a suitable politician wife/girlfriend or even a good image towards Joe.   They belittle Rose and Joe wouldn't even stand up for her!!!!

http://ak8.picdn.net/shutterstock/videos/1633828/preview/stock-footage-elegant-candlelight-dinner-table-setting-at-reception.jpg

Here's the big kicker!!! Joe Propose to Rose!!!!!

http://princesscutengagementringsreviews.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/50CT-Princess-Cut-Antique-Vintage-Diamond-Engagement-Ring-14K-White-Gold.jpg
In the end Rose makes her epic list, Why shouldn't she marry Joe? after her conclusion, Mason calls just as danger lurks around. And can you guess who came to her rescue? And if that wasn't enough hint, even the nurse who took notice of Rose's ring thought it was her and Mason.

Joe and Rose basically ended right then and there while Rose was recovery as well the vision she had of Joe and Hilary. I believe that Joe thinks he made his own decision by leaving Rose to do his father deeds in order to protect her but swears to himself that he will work as hard as he can to win Rose back and avoid the vision he asked from Rose since that wasn't what he expected.

Rose is left with a broken heart and Joe made his own selfish choice to do his father bidding, what will happen in 31 and a half? Where will Rose stand and will the things she seen come true?

Book Review: Lion's Share

Lion's Share (Werecats #1) By Rachel Vincent

Lion's Share (Wildcats, #1)Abby Wade has a dangerous secret.

Two months ago, she disobeyed an order, but instead of kicking her out of the Pride, Jace offered her a job. Since then, she’s been battling a completely inappropriate crush on the young, hot Alpha. But when accepting his job offer seems like the only way to keep her skeletons safely in their closet, Abby doesn’t hesitate.

Jace Hammond has a big problem.

A rogue is slaughtering humans in his territory, and he must eliminate the threat before the entire shifter species is exposed. There could not be a worse time for Abby to accept a job he only offered as a boost to her confidence. Abby is smart, beautiful, and resilient—more than enough to distract any man from the mission. Unfortunately, she may just be the worst enforcer ever to hold the title.

As they hunt the killer, Abby’s secret becomes a threat to Jace’s authority and to her own life. But the real danger is the grip she has on his twice-shy heart.

Paperback, 340 pages

Published (first published February 23rd 2015)

Review
Being a werecat means a lot of rules . . . You don't expose yourself in cat form to humans, you don't tell humans that you're a cat and you certainly DO NOT infected a human.

What do you do when HUMANS knows what you are and is hunting you like a prized trophy?
Abby Wade been through a lot but she also grown a lot from her horrid past.

But now Abby Wade might be putting herself at risk of being DECLAWED . . . because of a secret she's been harboring.

Jace Hammond took over his stepfather's pride but he's has some maturing up to do before he can really call himself an leader.

Jace need to solve the uprising of werecats deaths and who is hunting werecats before it becomes where a Tabby becomes a prize.

Will Jace be able to protect Abby from being declawed or will they both face something far much worst?

I give this an 4.5 Cat's Tails Up, I love that Rachel dove back into the werecat's world it been so long! I'm glad that as a reader we got to learn more about Abby and see how she's been doing since Stray came out

MEOW . . . MEOW . . . MEOW

Okay everyone that follows me on goodread and twitter and all other things, knows that I'm a HUGE Rachel Vincent fan. Her shifters series were my first love of urban fantasy and basically first adult novel believe it or not.

I have always hope that Rachel would dive back into this world but she has always said no because SHE believes that she was done with it but thanks to some of her authors friends telling her she should write that world again, she took a big leap in getting back into this world.

Lion's Share has a double POV, it portray Abby Wade and Jace Hammond. Lion's Share shows their journey together but it also show the growth (a lot of Growth) between the two characters that we're familiar with, Jace is NOW an alpha and Abby is a tabby with an attitude just like her cousin Faythe only more stubborn.

When Abby is needed home (kind of sounds familiar right?) she is hesitant on returning home . . . WHY? Because she's has a BIG BIG secret. But right now Abby has to deal with the threats of humans that are hunting specifically for shifters. The worst part of it was that both Abby and Jace knew who they were dealing with, it was one of Jace's biggest concern after the horrid camping trip that Abby was a target of just a semester ago.

I like this new idea of where its not necessary strays or rouges that were a problem but HUMANS. I know there was a Pride law where you can't exposure yourself as a Cat to humans. You also better DARE NOT infected anyone either which sadly has happen before..Lion's Share has a dangerous game of Hunter Vs Prey.

Romance between Jace and Abby, I know when I read Hunt that there was something between them but I thought it might have been the HUGE age difference between them that drove the wedge between them. But there was actually more things added to the wedge. Abby had suffered a terrible ordeal in Stray that basically left her fragile and scared.

I was actually stunned that Abby current relationship status was ENGAGED, I had no idea when that happened and don't get me wrong Brian seems nice enough but you can clearly tell that there was no fire. In fact I'm not even sure what made either one of them decide to become engaged because there was no real interlude to that story. But I'm sure it would have been boring . . . but not boring in making the book bad I mean boring as it doesn't need to be in the book.

Now Jace knows Abby, he knows when to offer her comfort and when it's okay to touch her because of what happen to her in Stray. What these two develop in a short amount of time wasn't really like "Passion" it was more along the lines of the two being "riveting" towards one another. With that they both start developing feelings they never thought they would have and now they have to learn how to express those feelings.

Throughout the book, Abby works hard on trying to be an enforcer under Jace but it's clear that she has her own agenda, one that could cost her very claws. The human hunters also have their own agenda, and they're after the most precious things that makes a pride and what's keeps a pride going . . . TABBIES.

Now let's talk about the old characters because you know I love them to death and have been wondering what has been new to them. The Lazy S has a lot going on, with kids running around and a teenage Kaci and Faythe as Alpha of her own Pride with Marc by her side as husband, father and co-alpha. Everything coming to the Lazy S is new and different.

Towards the ending of the book, after the good guys defeat the bad guys the Council must now debate on the actions that Abby committed. Like I said earlier that this GIANT secret she had harbor for a few months now could and would get her DECLAWED. However since it is a spoilers I'm not telling you what it is so SORRY! Then Jace turns around and does something as well! Just to protect Abby, the ending part was a really shocker to me because I would have never seen it coming but some of you might see it coming.

I can't wait for Lion's Den to come out and read the next couples that we haven't met yet.

Top 10 Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish, today topic is what are the top 10 books you won't ever read.

1. I am Number Four (Lorien Legacies Sereis) by Pitacus Lore. I had saw the movie that feature Alex Pettyfer and the movie was good and it was enough for me to say "Now I want to read that book" but I am Number Four came out in 2011 practically four years ago and I've obtain at least all five books give or take as gifts. It's been four years, so I doubt I'll ever read it.

2. The Tiger's Saga by Colleen Houck. Again all were given to me as gifts and now they rest in crates in my closet so I had more space for books that I do really want to read but I kept adding on my To Be Read list.

3. The Iron Fey by Julia Kagawa. Again given as gifts, now I might still read it but I got a ton of other books that are on my shelves. Plus I've listed To Be Read list since 2012, more long wait.

4. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Yes I have seen the movies but I don't have any desire to read the books. I have always had no desires to read the books, I almost didn't want to see the movie but Catching Fire was by far my most favorite movie.

The Awakening and The Struggle (The Vampire Diaries, #1-2) Crusade (Crusade, #1) Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1) Mercy (Mercy, #1)

5. The Vampire Diaries by LJ Smith. I have read the first two books but when the show came on I was totally lost until someone pointed out that the show wasn't following the books. Now I'm behind on the show at least two seasons behind and with Nina Dobvre leaving the show, you wonder how is the show going to go on without her as Elena? That was the whole purpose of the books, Elena, Stefan and Damon love triangle.

6. Crusade by Nancy Holder. Seriously I read the first book and like it but when starting book two I lost touch with it but who knows I might pick it up again. But as of right now? No it's just a book that not on my radar.

7. Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia. OMG like really? it was so confusing! and I hadn't read it but I thought maybe if I watch the movie it might spark interest NOPE. That movie should be ashamed of how they went on with it, From what I read as the book summary I really thought that it would be a good for me.

8. Mercy by Rebecca Lim. Sighs I pick up this book because of angels and being in and out of different people bodies BUT it was so hard to find the next book! Like her books do not exist in any of my stores that I visit so I gave up on trying to even start it because what would happen if I started it and like it but couldn't buy the others? There's so foriegn rights issues since she is an Australia writer.

Starcrossed (Starcrossed, #1) The Hollow (Hollow Trilogy (Quality))

9. Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini. I've had this one under my Barnes and Noble wishlsit and honestly I don't know why I haven't taken it off. It's been on that wishlist since August 2013, maybe it was a rec that I gotten but really I never look for that book.

10. The Hollow Trilogy by Jessica Verday. Another Barnes and Noble wishlist but this one been on my list since September 2011. I think it's safe to say I'll never read nor buy this book.I can't even recall to why I wanted to read that book to begin with.

The Werewolf Wears Prada Blog Tour: Interview + Excerpt

Today is the day four of The Werewolf Wears Prada by Kristin Miller Blog Tour, I had the greatest opportunity to read Kristin's new series and now again interview her mind once again.

The Werewolf Wears Prada (San Francisco Wolf Pack #1) by Kristin Miller

The Werewolf Wears PradaMelina Rosenthal worships at the altar of all things fashion. Her dream is to work for the crème de la crème fashion magazine, Eclipse, and she'll do much anything to get there. Even fixing up the image of a gorgeous, sexy public figure who's all playboy, all the time. Even if he's the guy who broke her heart a year ago...

Even if Hayden Dean is a werewolf.

Since his father's death, Hayden's the heir apparent to the San Francisco Wolf Pack—well, once he settles down. Hayden isn't interested in giving up his partying ways, except he's pretty sure he's found his fated mate, and the fact that she's a non-shifter is bad news. Now he must find a compromise between the traditions of his wolf world and his certainty that Melina is his...before fate (or another werewolf) bites them both in the butt.

Interview with Kristin

First, THANK YOU SO MUCH for having me on your blog today! As you know, I’m such a fan of your blog and can’t wait to read what you’re writing on the side!

What theme song would you pick to describe Melina and Hayden (separate and together)?
What a great question! For Melina, I’m going with something obvious: “Fashion!” by Lady Gaga. It’s got a groovy, mellow beat, and names all her favorite designers. For Hayden, I’m going to say something you might not expect. Amos Lee’s “Arms of a Woman.” I wrote the book to that song, and I think it fits what he was looking for in a woman, and what he found in Melina. As for the two of them together, it would be Susie Suh’s “I Do”. Especially this part:
“And all I am
all I have
doesn't even matter now
I can't understand why I feel this way
But I do
I do

I wrote a lot of the book to that song as well, so it’s fitting.

What would be Melina's go to fashion emergency?
She'd bring two dresses to every event! She'd wear one and pack the other, just in case she shifted and--God forbid--tore through the first one.

Every girl need something in case of an horrid fashion and with Melina being a fashionista you would think she has a plan in case something happens.

What would be Hayden typical attire?
Although he looks killer in a suit or tuxedo, he opts for more comfortable attire on a day-to-day basis. Jeans and polos, or jeans and dark shirt. That’s what I could picture him in.

What are one or two things that Melina and Hayden have in common?
1-Even though they root for different teams, they both LOVE football.
2-They’re completely dedicated to one another.

They do say opposite attracts right?

How would you best describe Melina and Hayden?
She’s feisty and fashion-oriented, and he’s a playboy to the extreme. They’re also both dedicated to their cause. She’s determined to do anything it takes to work for the fashion magazine, Eclipse (with the exception of turning her back on him), while he’d do anything to rule the San Francisco Wolf Pack.

What does the future hold for Melina and Hayden?
First up, since Melina is a turned wolf and a non-shifter for many years, she’ll want a wedding. White dress, vows, and all. I’m sure they’ll have an AMAZING wedding. Since he’s the partier of the two—and the new Alpha of the wolf pack—the event would be huge. The party of the century. Every werewolf in the pack would be invited. Since Melina’s obsessed with high fashion and off-runway trends, I’m sure her dress would be Vera Wang, and look something like this…

Wouldn’t you kill to be at that wedding?

I bet that her wedding would be extravaganza!

Thank you Kristin for stopping on by! And I can't wait to read the next book and as far that little "project" it's still in progress hopefully I'll dive back into it soon! If anyone's wondering what this "project" is I'm writing an Fan-Fic story BUT I'm not going to tell you who it is!!!!

Now check out this excerpt and then enter the giveaway for some great prizes!!!!

Excerpt: Chapter One

Life is not a fairy tale.
Melina Rae Rosenthal had lived her entire life repeating that mantra to herself. She’d kissed a long list of frogs, and put up with a lot of B.S. Today, however, made her question whether she’d been wrong, and incredibly bitter, all those years. She’d been asked out by one of the most eligible bachelors on the planet.
Prince Charming had finally arrived.
There was only one thing missing: a fairy godmother who’d wave a glittery wand in front of her face and turn her yoga pants into a puffy blue dress.
“I’ve got nothing to wear.” Melina dove into her walk-in closet, tossing leather pants and a fur poncho onto the bed behind her. “What am I going to do?”
Her best friend Colleen squealed from the bedroom, probably ducking for cover. Not very fairy-godmother-like. “Just calm down. You’ve been skipping around all day like Little Red Riding Hood on Redbull.”
“Not Redbull. Espresso.” Throwing hangers behind her, Melina huffed and shoved two coats apart. “I’ve had six today.”
“Six?” Colleen laughed—one of those witchy cackles Melina both loved and hated her for. She really was more like the Wicked Witch of the West than any fairy godmother Melina had ever seen. “You and Hayden must’ve really hit it off.”
Merely hearing his name made the hair on Melina’s arms stand on end.
Hayden Dean.
He was a San Francisco business mogul, millionaire, and model magnet. He was also scorching hot. Dark brown hair parted perfectly down the center with silky strands that nearly brushed his ears. Creamy chocolate eyes set against golden tan skin. Thick, swooping jaw, and a set of plush lips.
Totally Prince Charming material.
Before today, she might’ve settled for far less. She hadn’t had a date with a real man in months. The ones she’d gone out with had turned out to be mama’s boys, cat-callers, loud eaters, snorters, and scratchers. And if she went out with another guy who called her “Doll” she was going to scratch out his eyeballs.
She’d started to think the good ones were either already taken or dead.
“I’m telling you, it was magic. He’s not anything like you see on E! News.” They’d painted the famous Hayden Dean to be a stupid playboy. A chauvinist who cared for nothing and no one but himself. To her surprise, he’d shown her none of those things. “He’s unexpectedly…charismatic. And caring.”
Two hours interviewing the drop-dead gorgeous hunk, and Melina knew he was the one she’d been waiting for. The guy plucked straight from her dreams. He was tall, dark, and unquestionably handsome—more so in person, if that was possible—so staring at him while she fired questions about his personal life wasn’t the worst assignment she’d ever had.
And she could go off for hours about the trashy assignments she’d had from Celebrity Crush magazine. She’d worked as the Celeb Life & Style columnist for eighteen months, and longed to move up the ranks to Eclipse, the city’s leading fashion magazine.
Every article was one step closer to reaching that goal and leaving the unrealistic demands of her editor behind her.
“I’m stoked you two hit it off,” Colleen said, her voice laced with concern, “but they don’t call him Hook-Up Hayden for nothing.”
A subtle twinge in Melina’s gut warned Colleen might’ve had a point. All those stories about Hayden’s womanizing ways couldn’t have been terribly off-mark. But how could she turn down the chance to see for herself? Guys like Hayden didn’t come around that often, if ever.
“I think I can take care of myself.” Melina squeezed between two Gucci dresses. Exactly how deep was her closet? “If you got to know him, you’d see he’s different. Deep down, I don’t think he wants to be that way…the way everyone paints him to be.”
Colleen huffed. “You really think you know him? Deep down? After two hours in Starbucks?”
“Maybe, maybe not.” Melina’s fingers gripped silky-soft pleats. “Gotcha.”
She yanked a Prada gown off its hanger and burst into the bedroom holding it high. The dress was a gorgeous shade of eggplant. Grecian. Long and draping, with pleats on the gown and a dangerously low V-neck.
“Ooh!” Colleen crooned, jumping off the bed, her platinum blonde locks bouncing over her shoulder. “It looks like the one whats-her-face wore to that huge awards show last season.”
“Yes, but this one’s better. The V-neck is deeper, the skirt is tamer. The differences are subtle, but it’s striking, don’t you think?” She stroked the pleats, seeing the image take form. “I’m going to pair it with glittering gold Manolo Blahniks, nude lips, and the most fabulous earrings I can find.”
What better way to make a splash at the Silverlight Awards?
She still couldn’t believe he’d asked her.
Infamous womanizer Hayden Dean had leaned across their tiny table in the back corner of Starbucks, gazed deep into her eyes, stirring something in her chest…and whispered the words she never thought she’d hear: Be my date tonight?
Not only any date. His date to the Silverlight Awards. She’d walk the red carpet. Mingle with celebrities. Wave to the cameras. If she were lucky, she’d show up on E! News. The minute she’d returned from the interview, Melina had set her TiVo to record the event. Just in case.
“What do you think?” Melina bounced on her toes and met her friend’s bright blue eyes, practicing the show-stopping smile she’d give to the paparazzi that followed Hayden around. “Am I going to rock his socks, or what?”
“Wow, Mel, I don’t—I’m speechless.”
“Let’s hope he is, too.”
“I don’t understand why Hayden is going to the Silverlights in the first place,” Coleen said, her gaze raking up and down the dress. “He’s not in the film industry.”
“No, but I guess his father is on the Board of Governors and is getting some kind of honorary award for his work.” She shrugged, excitement pulsing through her. “Hayden gets two complimentary tickets.”
Colleen shook her head slowly. “And he asked you to be his date…”
Melina flinched at her friend’s disbelieving tone. “Why wouldn’t he?”
“I don’t mean it like that.” Colleen grabbed Melina by the arm and dragged her to the edge of the bed. They shoved clothes aside and plopped down, dangling their legs over the edge. “It’s just that…isn’t he still dating that Sports Illustrated model? You know, the one with the rack?”
“I’ve got a nice rack.” Frowning, Melina grabbed handfuls of her B cups and held tight. “Okay, okay, so they’re not as big as the other girls he’s dated, but at least they’re real! Doesn’t that count for something?”
“I don’t know.” Colleen shrugged. “I’m more of a leg girl.”
Melina snorted into a belly laugh. “I don’t think the size of my boobs matter anyway. He totally thinks I’m hot as-is.”
“Really?” Colleen beamed, snatching Melina’s hands off her boobs. “He told you that?”
“He didn’t say the words, but one glance and I could feel the chemistry. It was like—” How could she possibly explain their connection? It was crackly. Sparkly. Fizzling the air between them. “—Snap, Crackle, Pop.”
Colleen’s smile fell, and she cocked a thinly-plucked eyebrow. “You’re talking about the cereal? Sweetheart, I think we need to get you out more often. You shouldn’t feel anything close to cereal when you’re with a guy like Hayden Dean. You should melt. Like butter.”
“Oh, there was definite melting going on.”
If Hayden had been any hotter, he would’ve melted the panties right off her body.
“All right.” Colleen nodded. “You better get your petite ass moving. He’ll be here in twenty, right?”
Melina gasped, shooting a glance at the clock on her bedside table.
Six o’clock.
“It can’t be that late already!”
She swept off the bed in a whirlwind, dug around in her drawer for a pair of Spanx, and dashed into the bathroom. Squeezing into the bodysuit, she leaned and tugged as the stretchy material inched up her body.  With a groan, she wiggled into the stunning Prada dress. Colleen zipped up the back, oohing and aahing as Melina spun, excitement spearing through her. For the next fifteen minutes, she applied her makeup. Dried her hair. Straightened and smoothed down the fly-aways. If she hadn’t drained her bank account to buy this dress last week, she might’ve had the money to pay for a stylist. But things were tight.
As soon as she landed a job at Eclipse, she’d be fine.
Six-thirty came and went.
Glad to have a few extra minutes, Melina wiggled her size eights into her sky-high shoes and had Colleen strap them. She tweaked her hair. Reapplied her lipstick. Chose a pair of long silver earrings with chunky beads hanging off them. They were high fashion, bordering on gaudy, and they were perfect.
She checked the time on her cell, and just in case, scanned the log for missed calls. There weren’t any.
Nerves settled in, though there was really no room for them in her dress.
“I’m sure he’s having trouble parking,” Colleen said. But her voice didn’t sound so confident.
“Yeah.” Her lips twitched. “Parking’s hellacious around here.”
Melina shrugged off the doubt. As her toes protested the squeeze she’d put them under, she lowered herself onto the bed—keeping her posture straight so the dress didn’t crinkle—and then flicked on the flat-screen mounted to the wall.
“Look.” Using the remote as a pointer, Melina poked it in the direction of the television. E! News flashed over the screen. “People are already showing up.”
“I think they show up early and circle the block over and over again, waiting for the perfect moment to stop.” Colleen sat beside her, crossing her leather-clad legs at the ankle. She was long and lanky—probably six inches taller than Melina, who stood at five-foot-two on tiptoe—and hung her feet over the end of the bed. “I’m sure some like to be there first thing, and others like to make an entrance. From what I’ve heard, Hayden likes to have all eyes on him. I’m sure he won’t mind being late.”
It must’ve been Colleen’s mention of Hayden that made Melina see him emerge from a limo parked at the curb. The camera angle was distant and from the side, so she couldn’t be sure, but this man was the same height and general size, with the same complexion. He turned before she could get a good look at his face. He extended his hand for two blonde bombshells to exit the limousine behind him.
That couldn’t be right.
Blinking quickly to clear her head, Melina leaned forward as worry hardened into a ball in the pit of her stomach.
“Mel,” Colleen whispered, “is that…”
“I don’t think so.”
Colleen had either read her mind, or Hayden Dean was there with someone else. Two, to be exact. As the camera angle zoomed on Hayden’s look-a-like, Melina’s heart dropped to her Blahniks.
Hayden grinned and held up the hands of his escorts as they spun for the cameras, their green silky gowns hiding little of their curvy figures.
It was Hayden Dean. Playboy. Casanova. Pompous ass.
“Oh my God, Mel.” Colleen grasped her shoulders. “What a jerkhole!”
Melina nodded as tears pinched her eyes. She wasn’t crying for him. She wasn’t. She couldn’t be. She’d just been so freaking excited to be going to the Silverlight Awards. That had to be it. She’d spent all day building up tonight’s experience. She’d planned it all out in her head. Of course she’d feel deflated when the fantasy didn’t match the reality.
Cinderella wasn’t going to the ball after all.
Desperate to get a closer glimpse of the television and Hayden’s smug face, Melina crawled over the bed on her hands and knees.  When she reached the end, the breath whooshed out of her lungs.
“Are you okay?” She heard Colleen say. “Mel?”
“I’m fine.”
Oh, she was far from the bland emotion. She wanted to rip out Hayden’s tongue and shove it where the sun didn’t shine. The man was a snake in—oh God, was that Prada? They would’ve matched. They could’ve been the perfect pair.
“I should’ve known better,” Melina mumbled. “I should’ve listened to my gut. Somewhere deep inside I think I knew all those magazines couldn’t be wrong.” She shook her head. “I gave Hayden Dean the benefit of the doubt, and two hours of my day. Those are two things he didn’t deserve. I won’t spend another second thinking about him.”
“Good for you.”
Melina sighed. “I guess I just hoped—I just thought maybe for once, the fairy tale could actually come true for me, you know?”
As her legs cramped, she sat back. The ear-piercing sound of fabric ripping hit her ears. She stilled, slowly glancing down. She brushed her fingers over a rip in the Prada dress she’d spent her entire month’s earnings on.
Tears burning her throat, Melina glared at Hayden’s face on the television screen and realized two things.
By ripping her Prada dress, she’d just committed a fashion sin.
And fairy tales were most definitely real. They were. Maybe not for her, but for the girls on Hayden’s arms. They radiated happiness, their wide, innocent eyes taking in the fanciful scene around them. They smiled as she would’ve been smiling. If those blondes could live in a dream, she could too. She had control over her life, including who came in and out of it.
She should be blissfully happy too.
Why’d she have to wait for some dashing knight in shining armor to come riding in on a white horse and sweep her off her feet?
She vowed, then and there, in her torn Prada dress, that she’d make her fairy tale come true…without an arrogant Prince Charming like Hayden Dean on her arm, acting as if he was the one responsible for it all.
