Four Weddings and a Werewolf Blog Tour + Character Interview

Four Weddings and a Werewolf by Kristin Miller

Four Weddings and a WerewolfTo have and to howl…

Logan Black, former Marine and bodyguard for the Seattle Wolf Pack, hates weddings and has no plan to walk the path to matrimonial misery. But when he’s hired to protect a hot-to-trot wedding planner with a werewolf stalker, he’s forced to put his feelings aside. Not such an easy task when the damsel can turn him on with a single smoldering glance.

Wedding planner Veronica Vale knows werewolves exist, but hates them. One bit her sister, changing their lives forever. When a sexy Marine shows his gorgeous face at one of her wedding appointments, Veronica finds it hard to focus on the task at hand.

The chemistry drawing Logan and Veronica together seems fated, but with Logan’s playboy attitude, Veronica’s hatred for werewolves, and a stalker lurking in the shadows, these two need more than passion to keep them together.

Today I have the great honor to have Logan Black and Veronica Black

I hope you don't mind the cat hairs on my loveseat . . . I tried to vacuum before you arrive but my furry guy decides to dirty it up again.

No problem! I’m a total cat person! Growing up, I had a Siamese named Cocoa (who shows up in Four Weddings and a Werewolf), so I don’t mind the fur. :-)

First question is for Logan,
"Why were you so against being committed to a relationship?" Surely you found it lonesome after having a few one night stands.

My mother had been in one committed relationship after another, and I’d seen the roller coasters they’d taken her on. She seemed to lose herself and I was determined that it wouldn’t happen to me. And if you close off, you don’t feel lonely. To be honest, it’s easier to think about a woman warming your bed for one night, than it is to think about finding the one woman who’ll warm it for the rest of your life.

Veronica - "Throughout the book you have a clear definite hatred towards werewolves, but you finally came around and is now a werewolf yourself. How is the new you?"

I didn’t think I’d adapt well, but Logan is helping me through it. Surprisingly, I love when we shift together! I feel loved and complete, like this is the way it was always meant to be.

Veronica - "What made you decide to do what you do, plan weddings and such? also what advice would you give for brides-to-be?"

These are great questions! I’ve always loved the idea of planning weddings, and thought I would love to help a bride create her perfect day. Weddings are such a joyous event, and I’m honored to be able to take part in one every weekend!
I’d tell brides-to-be to leave the actual wedding day to me and focus on the man they’re about to pledge their lives to.

"Logan, you were in the Marines what made you joined the Marines? and how did you avoid the part of your being a werewolf?”

When I turned eighteen, I was desperate to get out of Seattle for awhile and the Marines provided the perfect opportunity. Hiding the fact that I was a werewolf was easy, considering we don’t shift at full moons. We shift when we get angry, but we’re taught from an early age to keep a tight rein on our emotions and fight off the urge.

For both Veronica and Logan
"If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?"

V: After spending so much time in Seattle, I’d love to visit somewhere sunny and warm. Hawaii, maybe? A week in the Bahamas would be nice.
L: (Kisses her cheek.) I’m going anywhere she’s going.

"A walk in the park or a walk on a beach?"
V: Walk on the beach for sure.
L: Guess I’m beaching it.
V: (Takes his hand) We can stretch our legs in the park whenever you want.

"Candle-light dinner or picnic?"
V: What woman doesn’t dream of candlelit dinners? That’s my pick.
L: I’d rather plan a picnic in the woods, somewhere in nature, peaceful and quiet.

“Since it's Halloween, what would you dress up as?”
V: I’m going as a black cat: tail, ears and all!
L: I told Veronica to be a vixen, but she wears that costume every night anyway.
V: (She laughs, then smacks him playfully in the shoulder.)
L: What? Too much? Seriously though, I’m not much into costumes. With me, what you see is what you get. I’ll probably wear a mask, hold a glass of Guinness, and call it good.

"Now that Kristin wrote your story, who do you think she should write next?"
V: Ooh, I think my sister deserves a story. Maybe Kristin should look back and write what happened after she was attacked and before she met Jake. They have a great love story to tell.
L: I’ve got a few buddies (Carter being one of them) who could use a good woman in their life. He’s got my vote.

Thanks for being here and I give you my best for the future you'll have together, (hands a two flutes of champagne, clink)

V&L: Thanks! (Clink right back)

Book Review: Four Weddings and a Werewolf

First off I would like to thanks Kristin for sending me out a copy after learning that it was coming out in just a few short weeks. I was able to be part of the book blog even though it was cutting it short. I read it in just two days maybe just in twenty four hours with sleep and no staying up late. I'm not sure how I did it but I did and it was worth it.

Almost every book is worth a lack of sleep over it, I have too many to count . . .

Review
Logan Black been hired by his Marine buddy to protect his fiance's sister, who happens to be stalked by a werewolf. However the job is proven challenging because his buddy fiance's sister is a wedding planner and weddings are not his thing.

Veronica Vale has always hated Werewolves, ever since her sister was attack by one and turned. But now she's helping plan her sister wedding and the guest list isn't her fav. Assume by what happened to her sister Veronica's views on werewolves as aggressive, no control, blood-thirsty, but when she meets Logan Black her views suddenly changed.

Soon Logan and Veronica are seeing things outside the box, having changed thoughts and desires, and fear . . . the fear of losing one another. Logan and Veronica will face their fears.

I love Kristin's writing for Gone with the Wolf and now with Four Weddings and a Werewolf, she brings the fear that men often run from but when you know that someone is your true love.
How can you run?

I give this a Five Cat's Tail Up, you have to read Logan and Veronica's story and follow their journey of finding love with each other. They both conquered their fears and found their happy ever after.

Meow . . . Meow . . . Meow
How about that idea of having a bodyguard werewolf and a hot one at that, however Logan wasn't looking for anybody . . . he prefers "no strings attact" or "One night stand". So should we love him or hate him for being such a player?
Let's Veronica decided on that since she spent the most time with him :-) She out planning people's wedding including her sister's but her sister's wedding will have certain guests that Veronica absolutely despises. You see Veronica and her sister were extremely close until Leah gets attack by a werewolf and her fiance was forced to complete the transition. (does that remind you of someone else from the Seattle Wolf Pack?)

Logan's job is simple . .. protect Veronica and find this mysterious werewolf stalker as it turns out to be someone that slip right under his nose. Veronica has fears . . . fears that involves with werewolves and now Logan must try to prove to her that not all werewolves are the same.

So the whole chemistry between Veronica and Logan is insane! I mean having hot sex in the elevator?!?! They are bold. Yes I know it's not all about the sex but come on that was a steaming scene!

A moment break talking about Logan and Veronica, we got to see Drake and Emelia again! WHOO! Also if you remember way back in the end of their story something incredibly special happen for them and now the moment of truth . . . they had a little girl! Although no name :-( but maybe Kristin haven't thought about the name because it wasn't Drake and Emelia's story or their little girl's story.

The one thing I dislike was when Logan goes and says "let's be friend" OOH! Friend-ZONED not good, that really mess up the mood between the two but they got over it and the fire ignites again!

The ending was beautiful! As you know the title does say Four Weddings but you only got three out of the four most part of the book, so I had to think it would be Veronica's or Logan's for that matters and thankfully they both are the one getting married and to each other.

Veronica finally get over her fear of werewolves and the fear of becoming a werewolf with Logan's help and Logan was able to see a different outlook in life that didn't ended with him being alone forever, he now can spend the next hundreds year with Veronica.

So don't forget to check out my Character Interview with Logan and Veronica!
