First off it took me a mere 5 to 6 hours to read this book on my Ipad, yes it was that quick but also keeping in mind that it is ebook. But also I think I just couldn't put it down because I HAD to read this book for the tour (my first one too!). So yes that a great way to start off, stating that I've needed to put my cat eyes to work.  So how was it? Did I like it? What didn't I like? And Do I want more?

Review
Emeila Hudson has a mission, her mission was to save her Knight Owl bar from going completely under and becoming brought out by Wilder Financials. Her plan? Seduce her boss . . . nah not entirely true but she did want to have a face to face talk with Mr. Wilder. But what she didn't expect was to find out that Mr. Wilder just so happen to be somebody she briefly met at HIS Halloween party.

Drake Wilder is a successful business man but he is also a male werewolf alpha that hasn't found his Luminary . . . his soulmate. But that wasn't until he met Emelia Hudson, the chemistry was there, the spark was there but could she truly be his? Drake was going to find out, one way or another.

Now danger lurks, if Emelia was for sure Drake's Luminary he would have to do just about everything to protect her from his twin brother Silas until Emelia can accept for what he is and what she is to him. But that plan went unfazed as Emelia get attack outside her bar and then again at the gala. The result of the attack at the gala left Drake with one decision.

Emelia never imagine what she saw outside of city hall where the gala was being held, but she knew two things, one Silas was Drake's twin brother and the fact they're both werewolves. Now her world has been completely turned upside down.

This book get Five Cat's Tails Up!
I was blown away with the the storyline, plot, conflicts, romance, and even the concept of how this series will go.

Ramble
I was drawn to Emelia right away, her personality sparks through the book as well as Drake but together? They were explosive. Emelia was that girl that played hard to get but the longer she spent with Drake the more she wanted him in every way possible. Drake would do just about anything to keep Emelia safe and happy, even if she has chosen to not complete the bonding.

I like how Kristin played with fighting power between Alphas and brothers, Drake and Silas are twins so equally they could both rule their Seattle Wolf Pack but their father's death and the two brothers were on odds end. The words of their father said whomever find their Luminary becomes alpha first while the other brother would inherited the estate of their father. But Silas wanted everything because he believe he was the rightful alpha because he was the first born.

Now this is an Adult book so yes there were some hot steamy moments between Drake and Emelia, what can I say? I love a good hot and steamy book. I think what was the best part about these two was how closely connected they were even before the bonding. Their desires for each other most certainly grew throughout the book and then there were some moments where they both couldn't stand each other. But in the end Emelia couldn't imagine living her life with someone like Drake and for Drake he couldn't imagine being without her.

The fight that never seems to end, Silas would have rather start a war rather than be second-handed since Drake found his Luminary. So what does Silas do? Kidnapped Emelia then it was a wolf to wolf showdown between Drake and Silas then adding Emelia to the mix when she shifted for the first time. She and Drake were stronger than Silas and then the pack came to arrest Silas for the crimes he committed.

The happily ever after, Christmas day. I love how authors goes a few months or a year into the future, just because for the most part of the story ended but I always will want more and Kristin did just that. I wonder if she wrote this particular scene on Christmas day . . .Emelia and Drake exchange two of the greatest gift either of them could give to one another. A ring and expecting their first child together, nothing could have been more perfect.

  1. Thank you for such a wonderful review! I'm so glad you enjoyed the book.

As for when I wrote the ending scene, it wasn't Christmas Day, but close. ;)
