About CHASING IMPOSSIBLE:

Tough and independent, 17-year-old Abby lets very few people into her inner circle. It’s common knowledge in her Kentucky town that she deals drugs, but not even her closest friends know why. But when a deal goes south and Abby’s suddenly in danger, she finds herself reluctantly forced to lean on daredevil Logan—a boy whose restless spirit matches her own.

Logan has his own reasons for wanting to keep Abby at arms’ length. But he never expected to find in her the one person who might help him face the demons he’s tried so hard to run from.

Together, Abby and Logan will have to make a decision: let their current circumstances weigh them down forever…or fight for the future they both thought was impossible.

EXCERPT:
Abby
People near the stage scream and clap and I’m about ready to throw my cell against the wall. Stupid, stupid boy and stupid me for stupidly somewhat liking him and him thinking he can get away with not answering me.
“Give it up for our boy Logan.”
My eyes rip up, go for the stage, and my mind shifts into reverse, fast-forward, rewind, and then that smile that’s associated with the devil slides across my face.
Logan stands strong on the stage. Guitar strapped across his chest. Baseball cap backwards on his black hair. And when he strikes the strings of the guitar, those biceps flex beautifully.
That chord just struck a lot deeper than anyone could have imagined. Past my bones, past my muscles, and it’s created a nice warmth that’s curling around my belly. Liquid warmth.
The logical part of my brain demands that I walk away, but he’s the one that scared me by not answering back. He’s the one that’s causing all these alien emotions stirring in my veins.
Yeah, I shouldn’t kiss Logan. I should definitely leave a boy like that alone. But he returned and he’s the one that climbed onto the stage and is looking addictively sexy with that guitar.
Yep, shouldn’t kiss him, but I already told Rachel, I’m going to kiss the guitarist tonight. Wouldn’t want that one to be a lie, now, would I?

NOWHERE BUT HERE Synopsis:
An unforgettable new series from acclaimed author Katie McGarry about taking risks, opening your heart and ending up in a place you never imagined possible

Seventeen-year-old Emily likes her life the way it is: doting parents, good friends, good school in a safe neighborhood. Sure, she's curious about her biological father—the one who chose life in a motorcycle club, the Reign of Terror, over being a parent—but that doesn't mean she wants to be a part of his world. But when a reluctant visit turns to an extended summer vacation among relatives she never knew she had, one thing becomes clear: nothing is what it seems. Not the club, not her secret-keeping father and not Oz, a guy with suck-me-in blue eyes who can help her understand them both.

Oz wants one thing: to join the Reign of Terror. They're the good guys. They protect people. They're…family. And while Emily—the gorgeous and sheltered daughter of the club's most respected member—is in town, he's gonna prove it to her. So when her father asks him to keep her safe from a rival club with a score to settle, Oz knows it's his shot at his dream. What he doesn't count on is that Emily just might turn that dream upside down.

No one wants them to be together. But sometimes the right person is the one you least expect, and the road you fear the most is the one that leads you home.

A summer road trip changes everything in this unforgettable new tale from acclaimed author Katie McGarry. For new high school graduate Echo Emerson, a summer road trip out west with her boyfriend means getting away and forgetting what makes her so . . . different.
It means seeing cool sights while selling her art at galleries along the way. And most of all, it means almost three months alone with Noah Hutchins, the hot, smart, soul-battered guy who's never judged her. Echo and Noah share everything--except the one thing Echo's just not ready for.
But when the source of Echo's constant nightmares comes back into her life, she has to make some tough decisions about what she really wants--even as foster kid Noah's search for his last remaining relatives forces them both to confront some serious truths about life, love, and themselves.
Now, with one week left before college orientation, jobs and real life, Echo must decide if Noah's more than the bad-boy fling everyone warned her he'd be. And the last leg of an amazing road trip will turn . . . seriously epic.

Excerpt
From Echo’s POV
There’s nothing like the rush of being chased by the great Noah Hutchins…
I hold my breath and strain to listen past the late-day birds singing in the branches above. The fine hair on the back of my neck rises as if Noah has appeared behind me and deliciously blown over my skin. I close my eyes. He’s so near I can imagine his body wrapped around mine.
Noah is wily and good at seeking, but I’m crafty and better at hiding. I edge to the side again and in painfully slow movements look behind me and…
“Gotcha.”
I scream. Loudly. My heart ramming through my chest. Birds’ wings beat together as dozens of them take to the sky. The moment I spot the laughter in Noah’s chocolate-brown eyes, my scream quickly morphs into a fit of giggles. He reaches for me, but I stumble back from the solid arm attempting to sneak around my back.
“You’re not getting away this time.” Noah’s deep voice vibrates down to my soul.
Noah’s arm slides one way and in a maneuver so slick it seems choreographed, I slip to the side, once again barely dodging his grasp.
“You’re too slow,” I taunt as I gain traction and sprint for the field of untamed wildflowers. The white-and-yellow daisies brush against my legs as I push forward. My skirt swishes against my thighs, and I love how the smooth material grazes my skin. Clean air fills my lungs, and my blood beats manically in my veins. Never in my life have I felt so alive. So high that I’m soaring.
“I’m letting you win,” he calls out.
“You are not.” I slow and pivot to watch as he struts behind me. The tall grass and flowers reach his jean-covered legs. For once, his dark hair doesn’t hide his eyes, and I love the spark of naughtiness in them. “You’re sore that you’re losing.”
He flashes the type of grin that encourages tingles. “You’re becoming cocky, Echo.”
I laugh, and the sound causes his smile to widen. Even though he’s slow in his approach, his wide gait closes the distance between us faster than I’d like. I steadily walk backward, unable to tear my eyes off the fluid way he moves. “Now, now. Out of the two of us, we both know you own that title.”
“Own it, wear it, I am it. I’ve never claimed differently.”
Nope, he never has. Noah is exactly who I see. A few months away from Kentucky, away from home, the rough foster kid is evolving into a man.
“Hey, Echo.” Noah gestures with his chin that he has something important to say, and I stall, watching as his gaze falls to my midriff. “Your tank rode up.”
I peer down and in a heartbeat realize my mistake when grass rustles and Noah grabs my waist. In a dizzying circle, my arms wrap around his neck and somehow we both end up on the ground. Me on top. Noah on the bottom. As always, Noah becomes my safe place to land.
With a wink, Noah rolls us, reversing our positions, but I don’t complain. I dream of his body over me. The heavy sensation is familiar and addictive. Noah skims his nose along the side of my neck, and the pleasing tickle causes me to suck in air.
“I won,” he whispers against my skin.
I find myself in a waking dream as I savor his caresses. “Did not.”
Noah presses a kiss to that sensitive spot behind my ear. A stream of warmth floods my body. Longing for more, I twist to expose my neck.
“Did, too.” His hands roam, sliding to my side. I melt and tense at the same time. We’re in the wide open, but I can’t stop the way my body molds to his. My fingers bunch the material of his shirt as I play with the idea of removing it. We’re far from the walking trail, far from the campsite. How many people, besides Noah and me, allow themselves to wander to the point of being lost?
“You said you could find me in five minutes,” I say softly. “That was longer than five minutes.”
“Echo,” he says as he raises his head. His fingers begin this little dance. Moving up then slowly down. Each down is slightly lower and promises very wicked things.
“Yes?”
“I’ve got you beneath me and not a person in sight. That’s winning.”
A peacefulness unfurls within me. I have to agree. That is winning.

Book Review: Crash Into You

CRASH INTO YOU BY KATIE MCGARRY

Crash into You (Pushing the Limits, #3) From acclaimed author Katie McGarry comes an explosive new tale of a good girl with a reckless streak, a street-smart guy with nothing to lose, and a romance forged in the fast lane

The girl with straight As, designer clothes and the perfect life-that's who people expect Rachel Young to be. So the private-school junior keeps secrets from her wealthy parents and overbearing brothers...and she's just added two more to the list. One involves racing strangers down dark country roads in her Mustang GT. The other? Seventeen-year-old Isaiah Walker-a guy she has no business even talking to. But when the foster kid with the tattoos and intense gray eyes comes to her rescue, she can't get him out of her mind.

Isaiah has secrets, too. About where he lives, and how he really feels about Rachel. The last thing he needs is to get tangled up with a rich girl who wants to slum it on the south side for kicks-no matter how angelic she might look.

But when their shared love of street racing puts both their lives in jeopardy, they have six weeks to come up with a way out. Six weeks to discover just how far they'll go to save each other.

Hardcover, 474 pages

Expected publication: November 26th 2013 by Harlequin Teen
I've been dying for the book! But of course I never expected so many declines, as usual I go on Netgallery and I find books to read just a wee bit early before its release however for Crash Into You it didn't come easy.
I was declined through numerous publishers from different country, now what was odd was being decline for this particular book because I've read Dare You To from one of the publishers on Netgallery.
But I'll went on Edelweiss, a newbie on this site I found the book and submitted my request and gritted my teeth and nerves for weeks waiting on a response. When I got the email as usual, I was half thinking "I'm not going to get it" but that email on that day light me up, I was approved to read Crash Into You!!!!!
Okay time for the review and my Meow . . . Meow . . . Meow talk,

Review
From the start we knew Isiaiah just barely expect we knew two things, one he was Noah's best friend and two he was undeniably in love with Beth. But after Beth found her happy ending, Isaiah thought he was meant to be alone and no one would ever be good for him or the other way around until . . . Rachel came along.
Rachel is idolize by her parents, living in a constant spotlight and someone's shadow Rachel just wanted to be herself. Rachel's most favorite thing to do was drive endlessly and be around cars, but a little thrill of danger she is lead to the middle of an drag race and gambling she is out of her league.
The only person that is on her side is Isaiah who clearly see her being a person in the wrong place and the time . . . Rachel might as well be the deer in the headlights.
What will this bring for Isaiah and Rachel, when they own money?
This is a bundle of Kittens for this one! I've been dying to know if Isaiah would ever find someone or was Katie going to leave him behind but Isaiah is too well known so there's has to be a story. It's a story that we see the softer side of Isaiah and a deeper side of him along with learning about Rachel just as he's learning about her.

Meow . . . Meow . . . Meow
Sighs and swoon! We finally really meet Isaiah for the first time, behind the earrings and tattoos he's kind and deep. After the poor heartbreak he gets from Beth although Beth knew that they weren't right for each other but Isaiah had hoped. But now there's a new girl coming into his life and her name is Rachel.

We never met Rachel before and I think we never expected what her story is, living by someone's shadow and being in the spotlight. However Rachel is no ordinary girl, she loves CARS! How many girls actually like Cars? Well she does and beside living under a shadow and spotlight, being around Cars is hers and hers only.

Drag racing and gambling never mixed, but that was the life out on the street with cars. However sweet Rachel got herself in a deep pile of litter that Isaiah had the means to drag her out of it but that was the easy part, the hard part was obtaining money Rachel under no means wants to pay back her loss from the race because she never really bet. Isaiah has the urge to help her out and begun to care for her.

However Isaiah was still battling his own problems, being under 18 and under the system the one thing he never wanted to deal with was his mom. Being left behind as a child and beaten up by fosters, Isaiah believes that he couldn't trust anyone.

Rachel for sure led two different lives, one being the girl that is clearly being shadowed by someone who isn't here and chasing the endless highways. But will she be able to keep both lives apart or will someone let the cat out of the bag?

Isaiah and Rachel are having to rely on each other and work together to pay off the debt thus cutting off all ties with drag racing. But still have each other in the end, and I'm not going to say what happens in the end but its a real shocker!

Book Trailer of Dare You To

Where to Purchase

Katie gives a thrilling new kind of love, where opposite truly does attract. After writing about Noah and Echo's love story, it was time for Beth and a new guy Ryan to find love and trust. At first I wish there was more of Noah and Echo but I'm sure she'll bring them back eventually, what goes around comes around. So without futherado I will let you read the review and my rambling thoughts of the book.

Review
It all started with a DARE, Ryan Stone a jock need to get a girl's number but when he meet Beth "Skater Girl" you can imagine she her words were anything less than the "F" word. When Beth's world goes upside down she is forced to live with her uncle and in her old town. Ryan's world seems perfect except for one little thing that might destroy his father's reputation. Beth and Ryan are each other's opposite but soon neither of them can avoid the fact that there is chemistry between them. But can Beth let go of her life that she finds nothing but heartaches and pain? Or will she embrace a new start, a start that could be with the deep-soul hunky jock Ryan?  This next book brings a new kind of story one where opposite do attracts.

I give this all out Cat's Tails Up there is nothing about this book I didn't like, I love everything about it! Brilliantly written by Katie, I can't wait for more love stories with conflicts.

Ramble
What can  I say? If I thought Noah and Echo's love story was intense, Ryan and Beth take the heat! I'm glad Katie gave Beth a new perspective on life even when Beth didn't want it or didn't think that she could wants what she desires. Ryan on the other hand is a new kind of guy, one whom we haven't met until now . . . he's the golden boy of his family but if you search deeply in his family circle, relationships are strained.

Beth struggle with trying to start a new life in Groveton, she doesn't fit in and she worries about what people might know of her past. She also run into her old best friend Lacy, who does have an insight of Beth's life but never will she say anything. Beth needs to let go of her mom, her actions doesn't do Beth any good expect cause pain and suffering.

Ryan is fortunate that his parents gave him all his needs for a successful baseball career, but when Ryan finalizes in a writing competition that is simply unacceptable. Ryan had everything set in motion until he meet Beth for the second time and he's even more intrigue by her when her uncle asked to keep an eye on his niece. Now Ryan can fulfilled a new dare, ask for her number was one dare now it was to take her out on a date. Yeah that will be easy . . . NOT

So the more Beth lives in Groveton and starting spending more and more time with Ryan, she begins to feel like she never felt before . . . the butterflies in her stomach and her fond memories of ribbons. Ryan does everything to show Beth just how great a life in Grovton can be and help her accept living her new life in Groveton and with Ryan.

Memorable Quotes/Moments
"You're a lot like that bird in the barn. You're so scared you're going to be caged in forever you can't see the way out. You smack yourself against the wall again and again and again. The door is open, Beth. Stop running in circles and walk out." ~ Ryan

One of Ryan and Beth's moment was in the pond, where Beth had to learn how to trust I thought this was such a touching moment. Ryan said that he'll never let her go, he also says he loves her in the rain.

The scene where Ryan give Beth a ribbon, that was the first step in Ryan's part, he was saying "I care about you and I like you" even though he mention that he has like her already. But bringing something of the past that made Beth happy was enough to melt my heart.

"My heart stutters at the sound of Ryan's voice. Damn, why do I have to find everything about this boy attractive? His voice, his face, his biceps, his abs...stop it!" ~ Beth

Currently Reading

It's been awhile since I'd posted a Current read, sorry about that but trust me I have been reading books

Some are re-reads for reviews some are books that need reviews for its upcoming release. So as you can see I'm pretty busy reading books while I'm still reviewing some other books I've read.

So here's a few that are on my current reads

Into The Fire By Amanda Usen

Jackson Calabrese has a lot of nerve. He beat Lila Grant in the Culinary Academy competition using her recipes. Now, he’s opening a restaurant and wants her help? Fine, she'll fix his menu, but it's going to cost him.

Heir to the Calabrese restaurant empire, Jackson can buy anything he wants, except creativity, so he buys Lila's instead. He can craft perfect paella, but to take New York by storm he needs her innovative spark.

Skillets aren't the only things hot in the kitchen, and an uneasy truce ignites into passion. They’re great in bed, but Jackson doesn't trust her, and Lila is contemplating revenge. The restaurant opening approaches, the menu is completed, and the tables are set for one final act of betrayal. How can love bloom in the midst of such a hot mess?

I'm reading this book for a review and hopefully participate for the blog tour. I finished reading it the other night but now I have to skim through it agian for the review aspect. But I can say I did enjoy this book, do you have a taste for hunger?

Werewolves Be Damned (Magic and Mayhem #1) By Stacey Kennedy

Werewolves Be Damned (Magic & Mayhem, #1)Nexi Jones—part witch, part guardian, and wannabe kick-ass warrior—can’t throw a punch or conjure the simplest magic. But that doesn’t stop her from hunting the werewolves who slaughtered her human family. She’ll have her revenge, but only if Kyden, the elite guardian, would get the hell out of her way.

Kyden can’t decide if Nexi wants to get herself killed or if she just has no clue what she’s doing. But her father made it clear: keep Nexi safe…or else. Of course, the more Nexi runs toward revenge, the more she needs Kyden’s aid, and as she grows into her power and confidence, so does his desire to protect her. The only problem? She’d rather he dropped dead.

But when a vampire paints a bull’s-eye on Nexi’s back, she’s hard-pressed to deny Kyden and the help he’s offering. Even if it means getting her revenge will be a little bit harder. At least it will still be as sweet.

This story was previously published elsewhere under the title The Willow in 2010, and has been revised and expanded for Entangled Publishing.

I got this as a early copy of the book because I participated in the cover reveal, but I haven't had the time to read it. So I've add it to current read since it long overdue. The author been getting many reviews and praise on her WBD and I want to share her my thoughts, my review.
