Snow is now got her mind distracted by Hunter's seduction, although she knows her stepmother would never approve and having the thought of losing the estate drills into Snow's mind.

Snow now has to figure if she should follow her heart or should she do what is best for saving the estate?

Again I have no complaints except that Snow should just forget about Malcolm because I truly like Hunter more, even before she slept with Hunter. Hunter seems like a good fit with her and was/is her best friend from childhood.

I give this four Cat Paws . . . again no complaint from Kristin's writing.

Hair black as a raven’s coat, skin as white as snow, lips as read as, blabitty-blah, blah, blah. If one more person calls me sweet and innocent, I’m losing my head.

I’ve got more pressing matters to think about. Like the fact that our wolf pack is in serious debt. If I can’t find a way to secure financing for our estate, we’ll lose our shifting sanctuary. My stepmother—wonderfully wicked as she is—has come up with a plan: seduce a rich jeweler who’s visiting for the weekend. One problem: I’m not a temptress, not by a long shot. It’s a good thing my childhood best friend, Hunter, has come back into the area. He’s always been a playboy and knows how to get what he wants. He agrees to teach me the rules of seduction, but before long, I realize I'm the one being played.

For Snow becoming 25 years old means that she'll be declared alpha of her pack in the Pacific Northwest. She has it all planned out, and got her eye on the intended prize.  However Snow is side struck by an old friend, Hunter. Then that is all she can think about . . .

But Snow should be keeping her eyes on the pride, the one that can help save White Estate. But for the life of her she's instantly drawn to Hunter. Even though it been years since she last see him.

For me Snow is a nervous wreak for trying to seduce a guy that she clearly has no true attraction to, I believe that Hunter is her true mate.

What my thoughts on Hunter is that he's have always like Snow, even though they always had that friendship boundary. I look forward to seeing what happens next!

Right off the bat, I still love Kristin's writing even when this serials has an erotic taste. When reading the description of Desiring Red, I was like this young female just has no clue what she's getting herself into and that was the interesting part on reading to see how she figures things out. As well the two werewolves that will turn her world upside down.

A little bit on Ivy, the poor girl that is in this uncertainly about life. I guess it's one thing to figure out what you want to do in life, it's another to try and figure out who you want to be with the rest of your life. Ivy doesn't have complete confidence in herself, until . . . Reaper comes along.

The Mysterious Reaper, he's supposed to be next in line but he's decided to drop everything to go chase a ghost. When he return after being gone for extend amount of time, the first thing he sees is Ivy, in a deep red robe, panicky. When they touch it's instant chemistry.
I actually really am drawn to Reaper . . . But I know nothing but his reputation and very little of his past.

Next we have the up and coming Alpha Lukas, I'm not even sure where he stands other than he can pick and choose any women to be his mate or his plaything (if you know what I mean). When Ivy has to be in his presence the first thing he does is brings out the Brandy. During their little interactions, I wasn't sure if bring out the Brandy was a way for him to get through all of this or simple just to drunken up female pre-shifers. But he didn't do either to Ivy, in fact he was rather curious about her since for Ivy its not about just her being a pre-shifter, it's also for her to determine if she want to join the pack.

NOTE this book ends in the biggest cliff hanger ever! I mean after getting to those last few words I was like "That's it?" That's all I get? But again it is a serial, so I can't wait to keep on reading it.

I give this 5 Cat Paws, clearly I was instantly drawn between Ivy and Reaper and their instant hot and sexy moments.

Both Josie and Ryder have this instant connection upon their first meet.

As you know Kristin's werewolves books deals with a wolf finding his luminary, what made Ryder so different from all the other male wolves she written was his determination that he never wants to get marry, have children or find love. Ryder believes he knows everything about marriage and relationships but I think he's never really had one either.

Josie on the otherhands has no problems with having a relationship but she got so caught up in her business that she never set out there. But when she meets Ryder, she felt that connection that she does when pairing up couples.

The most funny part of this book was the big Wolf reveal, Ryder's best friend Mitch who marrying Josie's sister gets himself so drunk that he shifted in the back of a bar alley. I guess one of the reasons why Mitch "Carelessly" did this was because Ryder kept pushing and nagging on him that he had to tell Carrie the truth about what he is. Again Ryder wanted to show Mitch what he saw in his eyes about marriage, but clearly that backfires.

Even the coded conversation that Carrie and Josie had while being film was hilarious, I was almost afraid that Liza was going to pick up on the fact that they might not be talking about a dog. Both Josie and her sister Carrie agreed to be turned, I love Carrie's and Mitch Idea but at the same time I enjoyed Josie and Ryder's idea just doing it after being together for a couple months.

I really have to give this 5 Cat's Paws, everything that I said in my review reflects why I gave it five Cat's Paws.

Now I just wonder  . . . WILL Kristin write MORE??? I already sent her a message about something so I guess I'll see what's she say! Also if you haven't seen some of the posts on facebook and Twitter (I tried to do it on both), I've written a Fan-Fic story on Silas Wilder the big bad wolf from Gone with the Wolf. So far 10 chapters are up, and I'll try to upload more when I get the time.

Book Review: Bitterroot

Review

Bitterroot has a mixture of werewolves and vampires, they're sworn enemy to one another until tragedy happen and now the fate of the werewolves lies within a young girl unaware about her royalty werewolf line and the fact that she must fight for rightful supremacy. 

The only problem is that she doesn't know if she want the title . . . or the family she's supposely belong. 

Meanwhile the half sister have been groomed her whole life, ready to take on the role as alpha once her father has steps down but now she must fight against the half sister she's never known. 

What happens if one sister despise the enemy but the other one doesn't? 

I give this an 3.7 Cat's Tails Up, the fate of the pack lies within the sisters.

Overall this was a quick read for me, I don't want to say its a cliche that its an werewolf/vampire story however the ideas were good and unexpected. Which is why  I gave it an 3.7 rather than a 3.5 because it was close to being a four Cat Tails rating but not quite.

The half sisters storyline was interesting, there's a little bit of royalty rights going on after Charlie the one who get returned to her pack and her half sister Regan who was born with the pack, they both must figure out how to avoid doing an epic battle that determines who become alpha.

One was trained to fight . . .

One was left in darkness . . 

The Vampire concept fell a little short, I think other than Charlie meeting the vampire stranger and then seeing him toward the end of part one before his real identity was reveal. It just fell short, Charlie doesn't know why the pairing is happening or why it has to happen and quite frankly neither did I as a reader other than it had to do with Charlie's mom but also the after math of Regan's mom death.

Sometimes Family Can be the Death of You

Wood Point Academy is not at all what I expected.
