Waiting On Wednesday

Waiting On Wednesday

Okay now that I've read the next four books of the Rose Gardner Series, plus Ripple of Secrets. I can't wait for book 7 Thirty-Four and a Half Predicaments. Yeah I still have to post my reviews of the four books and I'm working on it but I'm treading slowly on that process.

Denise herself just reveal the cover of Thirty-Four and a Half Predicaments and honselty the covers are just becoming more beautiful!!!
I'd would be really curious to when Denise is ready to end the series, what kind of cover she would have as the final book. My guess and my hope is that Rose and Mason will get married and obviously have kids or maybe all in one book! The Political influence of JR Simmons will be over, Joe will find someone that he will love just as much as he did with Rose.
There's a lot of wishes and there's a lot of titles that Denise will have to come up with for the next couple books she has plan.

Thirty-Four and a Half Predicaments (Rose Gardner, #7)

Book seven in the New York Times and USA Today bestselling Rose Gardner Mystery series.

Rose Gardner hates seeing her normally flamboyant best friend Neely Kate struggle with depression. So when Rose stumbles onto a piece of evidence indicating her birth mother might have been involved in a crime, she does the one thing guaranteed to cheer Neely Kate. She convinces her friend to help her solve a mystery. Though their penchant for investigating has gotten them into plenty of pickles in the past, what can go wrong if they’re looking into a case that went cold a quarter of a century ago? But the deeper they dig, the more dirt they unearth.

While she’s busy unraveling the past, Rose must also reprise her role as the Lady in Black as part of her ongoing agreement with the king of the Fenton County underworld. In so doing, she discovers a mysterious enemy is intent on attacking her friends, and her assistant DA boyfriend might be next on the list.

As both situations reach a boiling point, Rose must face the possibility that certain secrets were meant to remain buried and not even her special talent can get her out of every predicament.

Waiting Wednesday

Waiting Wednesday

So this is my first Waiting on Wednesday post, I actually shorten it for the stake of my linky. I been under a rock or rug or whatever cats like to hide in because clearly I haven't full-filled my blogger resolutions so I'm starting it now!

I requested Jen's books for Christmas because honestly it looks good and I've had my eyes on her Naturals series foe awhile. Well I read both The Naturals (book one) and Killer Instinct (book two) within a week!  Aaaannnnd I'm disappointed once again that her next book All In (book three) isn't coming out until November :-(

Cruel . . . Cruel . . . Cruel

All In (The Naturals, #3)

Three casinos. Three bodies. Three days.

After a string of brutal murders in Las Vegas, Cassie Hobbes and the Naturals are called in to investigate. But even with the team's unique profiling talents, these murders seem baffling: unlike many serial killers, this one uses different methods every time. All of the victims were killed in public, yet the killer does not show up on any tape. And each victim has a string of numbers tattooed on their wrist. Hidden in the numbers is a code—and the closer the Naturals come to unraveling the mystery, the more perilous the case becomes.

Meanwhile, Cassie is dealing with an equally dangerous and much more painful mystery. For the first time in years, there's been a break in her mother's case. As personal issues and tensions between the team mount, Cassie and the Naturals will be faced with impossible odds—and impossible choices.

Hardcover, 320 pages
Expected publication: November 3rd 2015 by Disney-Hyperion

Now I actually believe that Jen's series The Naturals could go forever! There's no cliff hangers (as far I know), there's no really timeline like most authors have for their books that will leads to the epic ending. She could write exciting cases, tough cases, hard to break cases and even cold cases.

I love her characters that she created for this series and I'm really excited to see what she has in stores for each of them. But I might not be sold on if she would to change POVs because she built it with Cassie as the main protagonist, we will see what happens.

Waiting On Wednesday

Okay since I've seen so many Waiting on Wednesday from Kara and Lyn at Great Imaginenation, Giselle at Xpresso Reads, Mindy at Magical Urban Fantasy Reads and more. But where it all started was at Jill of Breaking the Spine. So now I'll give it a whirl although I'm just feeling like I want to shout out what book I'm dying for and whimpers on the wait.

This book is one that I've been dying and my Barnes and Noble email subcription actually had the nerve to send me a notification of this book!

A little Meow . . . Meow . . . Meow

Now December is a far stretch but it is for sure a book that will be on my Christmas/birthday list, yes I'm one of those peeps that get double whammy on gifts and such. Now for the last couple years or well the last ten years, the gifts have been modest since I've grew out of toys that as a kid I would be ravish over it.

One year dad had said that it had usually taken an hour or more to open gifts, and that was when I was a little girl, we have videos revealing all the shiny new toys and I instantly would play with them after we cleaned up all the wrapping paper. So the years changes but the gifts are always give on giving
