I really can't believe that this is the last book in the Lux series! I mean it was just last summer that I got into the books just in time for Origin to come out. I fell in love with Daemon and Katy love story and the inseparteable bond they both share, now after seeing a few teasers I'm really nervous about what's going to happen because you know those teasers were just like "WHAT?!?" "WTH HAPPEN WITH DAEMON?" "POOR KATY" so yes I'm excited and nervous.

Visions (Cainsville #2) by Kelley Armstrong

Visions (Cainsville, #2)As #1 New York Times bestselling author Kelley Armstrong’s new Cainsville series continues, Olivia’s power to read omens leads to the discovery of a gruesome crime with troubling connections to her new hometown.

Omens, the first installment in Kelley Armstrong’s exciting new series, introduced Olivia Taylor-Jones, daughter of notorious serial killers, and Gabriel Walsh, the self-serving, morally ambiguous lawyer who became her unlikely ally. Together, they chased down a devious killer and partially cleared her parents of their horrifying crimes.

Their success, however, is short-lived. While Olivia takes refuge in the old, secluded town of Cainsville, Gabriel’s past mistakes have come to light, creating a rift between the pair just when she needs his help the most.

Olivia finds a dead woman in her car, dressed to look like her, but the body vanishes before anyone else sees it. Olivia’s convinced it’s another omen, a sign of impending danger. But then she learns that a troubled young woman went missing just days ago—the same woman Olivia found dead in her car. Someone has gone to great lengths to kill and leave this young woman as a warning. But why? And what role has her new home played in this disturbing murder?

Olivia’s effort to uncover the truth places her in the crosshairs of old and powerful forces, forces that have their own agenda, and closely guarded secrets they don’t want revealed.

Hardcover, 432 pages
Expected publication: August 19th 2014 by Dutton (first published August 14th 2014)
Reading Omens was so different from what I usually read, what drew me in was the concept and idea. Olivia is someone who doesn't really know who she is when a reporter find a hidden secret that Olivia may just be the daughter of a world famous serial killers. So she travels away from home, chose the small town Cainsville and more things begins to unrevealed even part of her memories that she could never figure out where they came from until now. I have a Love/Hate for Gabriel and wish that there was a spark between him and Olivia but it might happen you never know. I'm curious to read and learn his secrets in Visions.

So if you don't know this already, I love Rachel Vincent as an author and I love every single one of her books she's written. Now last year around this time, she ended with two series one being her trilogy Unbound series but more importantly she ended her longest series Soul Screamers.

So as you can imagine I do have all of her books, I have the US editions, Signed editions, Volume editions, and UK Editions. So that is what?

Signed Editions: Books 1-5
UK Editions: Books 3-5
I have all the US editions including the two anthology that two of Rachel's novella/short stories as well all of the volumes that are currently out

So in total I have 20 Soul Screamers books, and they will add on until I get UK (1-2 & 6-7) editions and purchase an extra copy of book 6 and 7 to add to my signed copies. And then we got the final the very FINAL Soul Screamer Volume.
That means 8 more is needed . . . AHHHH!!!

So I can't wait for Soul Screamers Volume 5 to not only see the beautfiul cover face to face but also to read the new edition of Niederwald and a new story told by the Hudson Brothers "Last Request"

How can I ingore this? I've heard so many book bloggers and authors say so much about it. Heck even one of my favorite author Rachel Vincent said that it good and that we should all read it. So yep I'm taking this book in high recommendations. I've always been interesting in science and genetics, for Sophie's book she created a genetic testing that would tell you if you have the "Killer" gene. I thought well that's interesting, so this book definitely draws my attention.

Mouse Watch #6

Well I haven't been mouse hunting for a while but I heard that I've gained even more of a mice problem in my household.

But here's are some that are Most Wanted . . .

Captive: The Forbidden Side of Nightshade by A.D. Robertson

17675016

Hardcover, 320 pages
Expected publication: October 22nd 2013 by Dutton Adult

The first adult novel set in the world of the New York Times bestselling Nightshade series, Captive delivers a steamy, forbidden romance between sworn enemies drawn together by an irrepressible desire.

Twenty-five-year-old Tristan Doran enjoys a life of incredible power and privilege. As a direct descendant of the Keepers—witches who have embraced dark magic—he defers to no one but his overlord, Lord Bosque Mar. For most of his life, Tristan has been kept out of the centuries-old Witches War, his bloodline too valuable to risk in battle.

But when a beautiful, young human Searcher named Sarah is captured and made a prisoner in his Irish castle, Tristan’s infatuation with her flings him headlong into the fray. Captive and captor, unable to contain their longing, embark on a passionate, forbidden romance together—only to learn that their love is at the heart of a prophecy predicting the downfall of the Keepers’ ages-old reign.

Captive explores the darker side of the richly imagined Nightshade universe, a fantasy world of powerful dark witches, shape-shifting wolf warriors, and fascinating history. The first of three erotic novels, Captive delves deeply into the fiery, illicit romance of two young lovers whose very desires invite their doom.

Way back in January I believe, during the promotion of Rise release date, Andrea aka A.D. had mention that she would be dabbling in the adult version of Nightshade with all the typical things that an Adult book has . . . Adult problems, the battle between good and evil and the sex. I can't tell you how much I've wanted to finally hear about this book and meet new characters that we either have meet briefly or new. I love Andrea's writing and I'm intrigued by how her style of writing will be since this is Adult genre as well Erotica. This book will for certain have aspects that are so forbidden that it will keep me on the edge of my seat.

It's no questions ask, you all are waiting for this to come out you were even waiting for those stories told by Four's POV and now with the final book being told in Tris and Four you just can't wait to get it. Now you probably thought I've read book one and two right? I've read one but I never wrote the review, I don't think my mind process it all so it is under the category "re-read" on my Goodreads list because it is a book that I will re-read again. Plus now that Divergent is a motion picture with the very talented Shailene Woodley(love her!) and the handsome Theo James(never seen him before but BOY! he is hot). So soon I will join all of you craze fans of Divergent and I really can't wait for the movie, it looks so good already and from my first read the producers were staying very close to the book.

A Risk Worth Taking by Heather Hildenbrand
A Risk Worth Taking
Expected publication: October 22nd 2013 by Accendo Press

When 22-year-old Summer Stafford’s parents split halfway through her senior year at college, Summer’s world is rocked. Everything she thought she knew—heck, everything she thought she wanted for her own life—feels like a lie. The truth is love is a risk. And the true kind, the kind that lasts, might even be a fairy tale.

Reeling from the divorce, Summer derails her own future by breaking up with her parent-approved boyfriend and giving up her lifelong plans for a big-city career. She moves back home, business degree in hand. Dad needs her to fill the gaps her mother left behind; Summer needs to find who she is outside of the cookie-cutter life that failed so miserably for her parents.

Ford O’Neal’s future involves one person: himself. He doesn’t have a permanent address and he definitely doesn’t commit. To a place or a person. Raised by hippies, he plans just far enough ahead to secure his next stop, this one landing him at a work-study program at Heritage Plantation where he can grow his own herbal and medicinal creations.

Summer is gorgeous and smart and fun to be with, the perfect way to pass five months. It won’t be love—Ford’s got too many things to accomplish, too many places to go, before he settles down. Yet Summer pulls him in, challenging him to rethink his own philosophy.

When Ford’s five months are up, each of them must decide if love is really worth the risk.

I had the opportunity to read this and oh my god you'll love this! Ask yourself this . . . have you ever taken a risk? Have you ever made one of the silly list as a kid saying "I want to do this or that" well that what 's A Risk Worth Taking is all about. I will be on the book blog tour where Heather will be a guest on my blog, I've asked her what were some her risk taking as well for Ford because really she left him out! My post will be live on November 8th, but seriously you do not want to miss this book!
