Top 10 of 2015: Best Boyfriends

Today its time for the best boyfriends nominee of 2015! Well they're not actually nominees but they''re boyfriends from books I read and that the best boyfriend of 2015.

Also just to make note due to the number of books I read by the same author that her name will often show up when doing all the boyfriends nominees.

From the Rose Gardner series by Denise Grover Swank, I nominate Mason Deveraux.

From the The Wedding pact "The Player" also by Denise Grover Swank, I nominate Garrett Lowery.

From the San Fransico wolf pack "Beauty and the Werewolf by Kristin Miller, I nominate Jack MacGrath.

From the Witches of Blackbrook by Tish Thawer, I nominate Jason Hardy.

From the Losing it series "Losing It" by Cora Carmack, I nominate Garret Taylor.

From the Stars Never Rise by Rachel Vincent, I nominate Finn.

From the Naturals "Killer Instinct" by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, I nominate Dean.

From the Rusk university "All Played Out" also by Cora Carmack, I nominate Mateo Torres.

From the Wicked Saga by Jennifer L Armentrout, I nominate Ren Owens.

From the Selection series "The Heir" by Keira Cass, I nominate Erick.

I was going to do more on this post but It was SOOOO HARD to find 10 boyfriends from the books that I read this year.

Top 10 of 2015: Best Couples

Top10_horizontal
Today is Best ___ of 2015 and today I chose couples although I'm terrifed of writing this post because a lot of the couples I have a really hard time explaining!

So going from my top favorite to eh I like them but forgot entirely what I like about them (remember a whole year has gone!)

 Losing It (Losing It, #1)

1. Bliss and Garret from Losing it by Cora Carmack.
Garrett has a BRITISH ACCENT!!! Do I really need to say more?
Bliss is one lucky women!

Thirty-Five and a Half Conspiracies (Rose Gardner Mystery, #8)

2. Rose and Mason from the Rose Gardner series by Denise Grover Swank
Rose and Mason are typically honest with each other and they both love each other unconditional but there's a little heartbreaker in 35 & a half conspiracies that leaves me as a Team Mason fan heartbroken.

Redesigned (Off the Subject, #2)

3. Caroline and Reed from Off the Subject series also by Denise Grover Swank
These two seriously are soulmates!

Beauty and the Werewolf (San Francisco Wolf Pack, #2)

4. Jack and Isabelle from Beauty and the Werewolf by Kristin Miller
Jack and Isabelle had a lot of hurdles to go through in order to be together and sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the one you love the most.

 Killer Instinct (The Naturals, #2)

5. Cassie and Dean from The Naturals series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
Now these two just got together, but honestly I saw it coming with these two finally got together. Although with Dean's troubled past it might put up some trust issues between them.

The Stars Never Rise (The Stars Never Rise, #1)

6. Nina and Finn from The Stars Never Rise by Rachel Vincent
Although these two are kind of in that unsure stages and with Finn's freaky situation, I wonder how it's going to work between them.  But hey at least he's not that easy to kill right?

Inspire (The Muse, #1)

7.  Kalliope and Wilder from Inspire also by Cora Carmack
A muse entangle love, but Wilder certainly feels something more that her inspirations but inspirations can be deathly.  He's determine to show Kalliope that it's true love from the heart.

 Lion's Share (Wildcats, #1)

8. Abby and Jace from Lion's Share also by Rachel Vincent
Honestly this surprise me with the pairing but I'm glad that Jace has found someone and that Abby has been able to trust Jace with her heart.

Wicked (A Wicked Saga, #1)

9. Ivy and Ren from Wicked by Jennifer L Armentrout/J Lynn
AND this one I don't remember too much of but I love the book since I gave it a Purrfect review.

Is there a number 10? Not based on the books I read this years since a lot of them were focused on the Rose Gardner series.

Top 10 of 2015: Best Books

 Top10_horizontal

Best Books I’ve Read in 2015 (Doesn’t have to be released in 2015, just a book you’ve read in 2015)

Okay the top best book I read has to be Losing it by Cora Cormack, I read this book on my way home from St. Louis which was a 10 hours drive back home but I read it under four hours.

Wicked by J Lynn was another contender, I thoroughly enjoy the book but I'll have to re-read it again so I can jump in for the next book. When will that come out????

Of Shadow and Stone by Michelle Muto, this book was a fun read, I told Michelle that she should write an second book. We'll see what happens.

The Naturals (both book one and book two) by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, I adore, Love, Obsessed with this series and I need book three right now!

I've read all of Denise Grover Swanks Rose Gardner's books and by far Thirty-One and a Half Regrets is my favorite out of all the books. But I still have a love/hate for thirty-five and a half conspiracies, there's so much I love but I still have a hate for what went down.

Another Denise Grover Swank book is Redesigned, those two characters are naughty and lovey towards one another.

Rachel Vincent (my all time favorite author) had two new books/series come out this year and I love both of them. The Stars Never Rise (YA) and Meneragie (Adult). IF you are a fan of the walking dead The Stars Never Rise I would highly recommend reading (no Zombies but there's a theme). If you're looking for something fresh and new/Never been written before then Meneragie is the book to try.

Tish Thawer's book The Witches of Blackbrook was amazing! and I can't wait for book two to come!

I was hook on Amy Mile's Wither book! I look forward to seeing where Wither takes her.

Menagerie (Menagerie #1) by Rachel Vincent

Menagerie (Menagerie, #1)
From New York Times bestselling author Rachel Vincent comes a richly imagined, provocative new series set in the dark mythology of the Menagerie…

When Delilah Marlow visits a famous traveling carnival, Metzger's Menagerie, she is an ordinary woman in a not-quite-ordinary world. But under the macabre circus black-top, she discovers a fierce, sharp-clawed creature lurking just beneath her human veneer. Captured and put on exhibition, Delilah in her black swan burlesque costume is stripped of her worldly possessions, including her own name, as she's forced to "perform" in town after town.

But there is breathtaking beauty behind the seamy and grotesque reality of the carnival. Gallagher, her handler, is as kind as he is cryptic and strong. The other "attractions"—mermaids, minotaurs, gryphons and kelpies—are strange, yes, but they share a bond forged by the brutal realities of captivity. And as Delilah struggles for her freedom, and for her fellow menagerie, she'll discover a strength and a purpose she never knew existed.

Renowned author Rachel Vincent weaves an intoxicating blend of carnival magic and startling humanity in this intricately woven and powerful tale.

Top 10 Tuesday

Top 10 Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish, today topic is Top Ten Books I'd Love To See As Movies/Tv Shows.

This is extremly hard because there's so many books that I have read and all of them could be contenders for Movie/TV shows.

1. Soul Screamers Series
It would probably be better off doing it as a TV show unless the producers can find a way to fit 300+ into 120 pages which is the max for when converting a book into a movie. The journey that Kaylee had to go through during her High School life had a lot of ups and downs, and learning about something she never knew but had always thought that she was crazy with her panic attack.

2. The Naturals
Honestly I love this series although there's only two books so far, it's a crime/thriller/paranormal book and I tend to do like some crime/thrillers shows. This series could go on forever since there's really no ending of this series, so which way would it be? Most likely a TV show because you can come up with different plots and if it were to be a Movie, you're really narrowed down to just what the book plot is with no expansion.

3. Fire and Blood series
MOVIE . . . Enough said

4. Lux Series
I know it's in the works for a Movie and I agree with it being a Movie AS LONG THEY DON"T FREAKING MESS IT UP!

5. The Selection Series
It was option for a TV show on CW but didn't get the green light for a first season and I think I know why proabaly because they also have presented Reign as a TB show as well and that one won in favor

6. The Rose Gardner Series
TV SHOW!!!! that way everything goes at its own pace rather than forced during the movie.

7. Shfiters Series
I don't know which way i would want it, maybe movie or maybe TV show. I just don't know.

8. The Depossessed series
It can go either way . . . but it would probably rave better as a movie but Gargoyles was a TV show and a MOVIE before it really went into an TV show. So would you want to see Gargoyles on the big screen? Me personally YES.

9. Pushing the Limits Series
I can't make up my mind on TV or Movie . . . each book is different

10. A Wicked Saga
Definitely a TV show . . . but it could face competition with the other shows set in New Orleans.

Now after attending UtopYA last year, I met many authors that I would have never imagine meeting so many! Some I knew from social media and facebook so that was really great to meet the author face to face.

Top 10 Tuesday

Top 10 Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish, today topic is what are the top 10 books you won't ever read.

1. I am Number Four (Lorien Legacies Sereis) by Pitacus Lore. I had saw the movie that feature Alex Pettyfer and the movie was good and it was enough for me to say "Now I want to read that book" but I am Number Four came out in 2011 practically four years ago and I've obtain at least all five books give or take as gifts. It's been four years, so I doubt I'll ever read it.

2. The Tiger's Saga by Colleen Houck. Again all were given to me as gifts and now they rest in crates in my closet so I had more space for books that I do really want to read but I kept adding on my To Be Read list.

3. The Iron Fey by Julia Kagawa. Again given as gifts, now I might still read it but I got a ton of other books that are on my shelves. Plus I've listed To Be Read list since 2012, more long wait.

4. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Yes I have seen the movies but I don't have any desire to read the books. I have always had no desires to read the books, I almost didn't want to see the movie but Catching Fire was by far my most favorite movie.

The Awakening and The Struggle (The Vampire Diaries, #1-2) Crusade (Crusade, #1) Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1) Mercy (Mercy, #1)

5. The Vampire Diaries by LJ Smith. I have read the first two books but when the show came on I was totally lost until someone pointed out that the show wasn't following the books. Now I'm behind on the show at least two seasons behind and with Nina Dobvre leaving the show, you wonder how is the show going to go on without her as Elena? That was the whole purpose of the books, Elena, Stefan and Damon love triangle.

6. Crusade by Nancy Holder. Seriously I read the first book and like it but when starting book two I lost touch with it but who knows I might pick it up again. But as of right now? No it's just a book that not on my radar.

7. Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia. OMG like really? it was so confusing! and I hadn't read it but I thought maybe if I watch the movie it might spark interest NOPE. That movie should be ashamed of how they went on with it, From what I read as the book summary I really thought that it would be a good for me.

8. Mercy by Rebecca Lim. Sighs I pick up this book because of angels and being in and out of different people bodies BUT it was so hard to find the next book! Like her books do not exist in any of my stores that I visit so I gave up on trying to even start it because what would happen if I started it and like it but couldn't buy the others? There's so foriegn rights issues since she is an Australia writer.

Starcrossed (Starcrossed, #1) The Hollow (Hollow Trilogy (Quality))

9. Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini. I've had this one under my Barnes and Noble wishlsit and honestly I don't know why I haven't taken it off. It's been on that wishlist since August 2013, maybe it was a rec that I gotten but really I never look for that book.

10. The Hollow Trilogy by Jessica Verday. Another Barnes and Noble wishlist but this one been on my list since September 2011. I think it's safe to say I'll never read nor buy this book.I can't even recall to why I wanted to read that book to begin with.
