I was asked to review Steve and Quasi book the reissued edition, and I was happy to do so since this was a book for cats. . . MMM I wonder what my cat would learn from this? That is if he read books like I do.
Now this review is going to be slightly different from my usual review because I'll have my cat Buddy joining me on this review since this is a manual for cats and I'm sure he has some things to say.
Me: I found TWIYLB very funny, and some of the helpful tips and hints for Cats gives me flashbacks of what Buddy would do
Buddy: Like What?
Me: Can you let me finish? (Buddy scowls at me) Anyways, I never read a book that was a manual for cats! I mean I've heard of manual or Dummy books of how to raise/take care of a cat.
Buddy: HA! Yeah Right, what do humans know about cats besides our breed types? Buddy huffed
Me: Buddy . . . So yes this was a humorous books for all cat lovers and I'm sure if cats could read they would love it as well
Buddy: Whose said Cats can't read?!?!
Me: Buddy do you want the floor now?
Buddy: Sure but first I need a treat . . . Captain's Catch Mix Ups Please?
(Kat reach for the bag and hands him four pieces)
Buddy: (Munch Munch) Alright now I can start . . . Yes this book was good it provided a lot of helpful hints to us felines and to the kittens that are just starting out. I know I'd cause a couple mayhem when I was just a kitten . . . wasn't I mom?
Me: Yes you were but now no pun indented you gotten a little cranky as you got older
Buddy: Its the way of life, and I can be cranky for many reasons. one not getting my beauty rest, two when was the last time you fed me turkey? thirdly You always bother me!
Me: That's my job
Me: I give this 4 Cat Tails Up, this book was a very easy read and I recommend it to all cats lovers! You may just find out a few secrets and helpful hints with your own cat.
Few moments passed . . .Ramble Talk
Me: Buddy why don't you tell my readers what you like about the book? You know ramble about it
Buddy: The Cuteness Ploy Ha! Now that was funny, although some do work my personal favorite is the Upside Down Turtle since that is my most popular cuteness. I like to give my servants (I called them) the Evil Eye just for the heck of it. Then we got the Intellectual, one paw over the other talk about being high class and sophisticated.
Me: Yes you do show quite a few cuteness pose even when you're tired or bored even sleeping mode, so let's talk about the Food . . . How to get your favorite type and how to get it at anytime. Now Buddy is already 15 pounds but he grazes during the day, but we still try to put him a diet even when the vet said you need to lay off the food grazing.
But the thing is Buddy acts like he is starving when we tried to put him on a diet, so therefore we blew the diet thing out. However he does have a little bit of flubber but that is just how he grew. But then we have the problem of him being picky just like me with human food.
So we add different treats flavors into the mix when we find new ones and are on sale. Now his "food" that he eats during the night is another story, we tried Science diet and he apparently doesn't like that food so we spent a lot of money for that bag because we wanted to help him with his eating habit and diet. MISSION FAILED
Buddy: I'm happy with my treats, especially the seafood variety and I love my Purina Cat Chow Naturals. Oh! and turkey!
Me: Buddy were there tricks that were in the book that you haven't tried?
Buddy: The 50-yard dash . . . but I would never be down for it because it involves me to run mindlessly and I rather do my running when I chase something away or stalk it.
Me: Yeah you'll take off randomly and chase away other cats because I know you don't like them but what the deal with the dogs? That one time you were going to show that poor 6-month old lab pup that you meant business when he/she was close to your yard. I've never seen you do that . . . waltz right up to a dog or dogs.
Buddy: Ha I laugh at danger Ha Ha Ha and dogs need to know my yard is my yard just like I tell those other trespassers.
Me: He's not kidding, he'll make any kind of sounds in the world that you don't ever hear from a cat and he uses his entire body for language.
Well there you have it guys! Maybe Buddy will come back and join me again but it would have to be on his time . . . I have my own schedule you know!

Mom took me on my regular walk but I didn't think she had taken a photo of my butt but she claims she didn't know that the camera took a photo.
