So I Married a Werewolf Blog Tour: Character Interview

So I Married A Werewolf (Seattle Wolf Pack #3) By Kristin Miller
So I Married a Werewolf (Seattle Wolf Pack, #3)

Carter Griffin, enforcing officer for the Seattle Wolf Pack, has a problem. He’s been offered the promotion of his dreams…if he can find a wife to prove he’s over his playboy ways. But Carter’s already walked the matrimonial road and bought the stinkin’ T-shirt. Besides, a werewolf only gets one fated mate. Been there, done that.
All werewolf dog trainer Faith Hamilton wants to do is earn enough green stuff to put her younger brother through college. Okay, okay, so she also totally wants Carter, her sexy next-door neighbor, to look at her as more than a friend. It’s too bad size 12 and plain isn’t his type. At all.
The two friends strike a deal to help one another out. They must face a variety of challenges from a psycho ex-girlfriend to a Yorkie with a shoe fetish...and that pesky problem of only having one-fated mate in a lifetime. Will a relationship ruin their friendship…or spark a love neither anticipated?

Character Interview with Carter & Faith

Carter, how long have you been in the policing business? And are you happy where you stand now in the ranks?

Carter: I’ve worked the streets as an enforcer for the last ten years. On the outside looking in, some may think that’s not very long. But when you’re tracking and bringing in rogue wolves, the days are long and the nights are longer. Most enforcers don’t last half that.

Faith: He’s being humble here. (She nudges him with her shoulder.) The enforcer turnover rate is huge. The job has crazy hours and the guys work year-round. I’m so proud of his promotion.

Carter: (Kisses her on the cheek.) Thanks, babe. I’m happy with where I am, in every aspect of my life. She’s my dream come true, though.

Faith: Awww. Isn’t he the sweetest? Don’t worry, honey. (She pats his hand as he sets it in her lap.) I won’t tell your buds how sensitive you are.

Carter: Only with you, Faith.

Faith, it appears that we don't know you very much aside from training dogs, have a dog blog. Tell us one thing we don't know about you . . . Anything.

Carter: She’s the most loyal person you’ll ever meet.

Faith: (She smiles.)

Carter: And she’s an amazing cook. Really.

Faith: Oh yeah, I believe you now that you added “really” to the end of that. (She winks, and shakes her head.) I burn things time to time, but my best recipes come from trial and error. I’m also a huge Supernatural fan.
Carter: (Scrubs his hand over his face.) Oh geez, here we go. Don’t get her started talking about those Winchester brothers.

Faith: (Blushes.) Carter has my heart…but if something ever happened to him, Dean’s mine.

Carter, I know this might be a touchy subject but what happen to your first mate? We know Jameson found 3(4?) luminary every decade or so and each one of them, he had a bond with them.

Faith: (Smiles sweetly and holds Carter’s hand.) He won’t talk much about the bond he had with his first wife, because I think he assumes it’ll bother me. I’m stronger than he thinks.

Carter: I know you’re strong. The toughest woman I’ve met, actually. The thing is, it’s difficult for me to talk about because it’s a failure on my part.

Faith: (Rolls her eyes.) You didn’t fail.

Carter: Hell I didn’t. When a wife tells her husband that she isn’t interested in having a relationship with him anymore, he should try his hardest to improve himself. He should want to improve himself, for her, or for his own mind. I didn’t. I buried myself in my work, and drove her further away. At least I learned what not to do next time. I won’t let Faith down, and I won’t let our love fade.

Faith: You’re a good man, Carter.

(He looks at her lovingly. She leans in and kisses him, and the light in the room seems to zone on them.)

Faith, how is your brother doing at Yale? Are you concern about him being off on his own considering he's a werewolf?

Faith: (A soft glow warms her cheeks.) Dawson’s staying out too late, eating Ramen five times a week, scheduling his classes for afternoons and evenings—

Carter: What she means is, Dawson’s loving college life. We’re not concerned about him being a werewolf on his own.

Faith: There’s a pack close to school that’s taken him in.

Carter: We’ve been in hiding for so long, it’s normal for us to keep that side private. It’s like those Andes mints Faith likes to sneak in the middle of the night.

Faith: (Sucks in a short breath and glares.)

Carter: She’s been sneaking those before bed for so long, I don’t even think she knows how stealthy she is. She’s like the Andes Ninja. (Laughs into a cough.) I can see her now, tiptoeing to the fridge, thinking I can’t see her and—

Faith: Carter! (She smacks him playfully in the chest.) Don’t make me tell them about your secret stash of weapons. It’s like you’ve got a gun for every outfit!

Carter: Okay, okay. Next question.

Questions for both of you,
How many children do you want?

Carter: As many as she’ll give me.

Faith: Awe, he says that now, but we’ll see when we have a little one running around. I’d love to have two healthy babies to add to the wolf pack.

Carter: Three?

Faith: Depends on if we have boys or girls. I can’t imagine having three Carter Juniors running around.

Carter: I can. (He nods, grinning triumphantly.)

Which house did you guys move into?

Faith: His. Once I moved into his place and Tracy moved into mine, we realized that was a better fit for us. The forest is right outside his door, and we’ve made some memories there.

Carter: Great memories there. (His eyebrows jump up and down as he gazes at her.) Simply talking about it makes me want to take another walk down memory lane.

And how is Humperdinck? Is he behaving well or did he slipped into his old ways.

Faith: He’s such an amazing little guy. He took to his training and hasn’t had any mounting issues since…well, it’s been months, which is wonderful for him! He’s warm and loving, and sleeps at the foot of the bed like a good boy.

Carter: (Shakes his head.) Don’t let her fool you. That dog sleeps wherever it wants, most days right beside her. He’s madly in love.

Faith: Would take one canine to know another, sweetheart.

Carter: (He lifts her hand and kisses the back.) I’m so in love with you, I’d sleep wherever you tell me to.

Faith: Beside me, Carter. Always beside me.

Aren't they just adorable? Thank you Carter and Faith for answering my questions and Faith best of luck with the future little ones.
